C7 is one of your vertebrae. Dermatomes are areas of skin that get their nerve supply from a single dorsal root, which is like a branch off your spinal cord. The dermatome for C7 is your second and third finger, so Mooby is basically giving the finger to this thread.
(So, Mooby, was I right? I haven't actually learned any of this yet so a lot of it was conjecture and wiki!knowledge, but according to my lecture notes we're learning about dermatomes in musculo-skeletal today.)

Yes, you are absolutely right. The C7 dermatome is mostly the middle finger.

Mooby the Golden Sock Yes, you are absolutely right. The C7 dermatome is mostly the middle finger. I am greatly entertained. I think the next time I feel like flipping someone off but can't do so because of environmental circumstances, I think I'll just mutter "C7" under my breath.
