Alrighty, since we got to talking about Mifune in a thread that was a spin off of another thread derail, I figure we should start a new thread as to not derail the derail(METADERAILMENT!). So, list some of your favorite actors/actresses, and post a link to one of his or her defining moments. Be sure to list any applicable warnings (ex: SPOILER, Rated R, NSFW, etc.) I'll start: Toshiro MifuneClint EastwoodEdward Norton (WARNING: Rated R--This means you, jagjag!) Peter SellersJohn Malkovich

I have no links (sorry), but my favourite actors/actresses are:
Gilderoy Lockhart A.O. Neville Kenneth Branagh
Rosencrantz Sirius Gary Oldman
And because I don't watch that many movies and don't fangirl actors, I can't think of any more I would rate as "favourites".

That was an amazing movie. I liked Val Kilmer as the ghost of Elvis. And Christopher Walken's one scene was amazing. He should have been in it more.
I like Christian Bale. He won me over in American Psycho. He's a good actor.
And Steve Zahn. Just because he's been in so many movies and no one knows who he is. xD He's a 'that guy.'

So, I hadn't heard of True Romance before in my entire life, and after watching a few clips on youtube.com, I totally want to go rent it now. > Um... favourite actors... Sean Penn is one, Gary Oldman is another, David Thewlis... Kenneth Branagh... there are a few more but I can't really think of them right now. razz

Johnny Depp is definitely one of my favourite actors, because that man is just amazing at what he does. He is like my acting role model. *nods*
I also really like Drew Barrymore and Sandra Bullock.

If you want an actor with range, Toshiro Mifune is amazing.
How Could I have forgotten to list Oliver Norvell "Babe" Hardy and Arthur Stanley Jefferson aka Stan Laurel.

Lianara: Oh, of course, Johnny Depp! I actually didn't like him at first, mainly because so many other people did, and that tends to put me off, but after actually seeing him act, I changed my mind. He has a certain charisma that really helps to give life to his roles.
