Don't highlight unless you want to spoil the game, or you can look if you want, but this can spoil some fun.
Minigames:
Arm Wrestling: Armwrestle your opponent by sliding the stylus across the screen
Trap: Help Ed run away from the boulder by tapping his shoes back and forth on the bottom screen
Survival: Guide young Ed and Al to the campfire to steal food while repeling foxes by tapping them
Artistic Wood-Chopping: Help Alex Louis Armstrong split logs with his fists by placing the logs in a specific location
Fullmetal Vs. Flame: Control Roy Mustang and have him shoot flames at the various things Ed throws at you
Scratch: Try to outline a simple picture while repeling cats that try to erase your work
Whack-A-Homunculus: Control either Winry Rockbell or Riza Hawkeye and hit (or shoot) the homunculous as they appear

Playable Characters:
Edward Elric is the only available character in the story mode. After the game is completed,the character mode is unlocked and Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang, Izumi Curtis, Alex Louis Armstrong, and Scar along with Edward become playable.
When playing as Mustang, Riza Hawkeye accompanies you. When playing as Armstrong, Lieutenant Colonel Hughes accompanies you. When playing as Izumi, Edward Elric accompanies you. When playing as Scar, Alphonse accompanies you.
