Last Saturday, I decided to ask my brother-in-law for his Crackdown game (why should I buy it when I can play for free?). When I opened the game the next day to play it, I looked through the booklets and saw the Halo 3 Beta stuck in the back of the case. The Beta had ended weeks ago, and I get my invitation right there.
And as if that didn't piss me off enough, I called him later and asked if he knew that the Beta was in there. He said that as soon as he bought it, he didn't even get the chance to play Crackdown himself, and if he knew, he would've done something with it sooner.
So, did anyone else almost make it to the Beta?

Naw, but I'm fine with watching footage and reading all about it in magazines. I'll just get the real thing, if my dad allows it. (If he doesn't, expect another post coming at ya in September asking why the fu*** he wouldn't get Halo 3 for me!)
