I put a dvd in and it kept freezing like a few days ago and then the red lights came on i think it was the whole circle.
My friend told me that something is unplugged probably
So i unhooked all of the 3 cords and put them back in and turned it on i thought it would work so i put a game in and like a few minutes it freezes but not red lights it makes like *zit* sound and there are like little marks all over and it freezed.

Well there is the "Red Ring of Death" which is 3 red lights.
But from what you've said, you should probably take it in for repair if it's not working at all.

Yeah i think its 3 rings cause the upper right one kinda looked lit but was light a light red.
Well it will work fine perfectly fine o nthe dashoard for any amount of time.
Should i send it to microsoft.

Should i send it to microsoft. yep you could call MS 3 rings means hardware failure of some kind. besides it best to get it done now before the systems warrenty ends and then your screwed

I never bought that warrenty cause mostly i get screwed over anyway i use to always use to buy warrenty for everything but the products and items broke after the warenty ended

Ive had mine since launch it never came me problems til now so id say about 1 year and a few months see the warrenty would have expired

Yes it is broken what is happening is your drive is scratching the bottom of your disks and it will eventually destroy your discs.
And Romie call 1-800-4MYXBOX if you have bought your 360 within a year.
