Hey guys, I think we're due for a content to get this guild a bit more active again.
So, here's what I had in mind.
I'd like you to design a banner for the front page of our guild. Not the little banner in the top right corner, but one to stick right in the middle of the front page, where people look when they're deciding to join or not.
Here are the requirements.
- A Spring/Summer theme
- The text "Scribbles: The Art Guild" placed somewhere on the image, preferably large
- The dimensions should be between 300x300 - 600x600 pixels
- No PLAGIARISM - if using stock photos, please gain permission before using
Optional:
- A Scribbles "mascot" of your choice!
- Art-related imagery
There will be a fee of 500g to join the contest. Please send the trade to scribbles_account, and you will be added to the Contestants list.
This contest will run from May 5th to June 25th. Please have your art completed and PMed to me by June 10th.
Judging will take place afterwards, then prizes will be rewarded.
1st place: 10k
2nd place: 5k
(Prizes are subject to change, depending on how many people enter the contest!)

I'm no longer inactive here, but I'm still a bit of a Blender 3D ameteur. I'd like to try, but 2D screenshots of 3D Images do not look great. That is, my 2D screenshots of 3D images don't look great. Things can be covered up, lighting goes all screwy, and other things go wrong.
And since I can't enter a 3D video to act as the home page banner, and I couldn't even draw a stick figure if my life depended on it, I'm kind of stuck...I suppose I'll try to start on it, but I might not enter at all.
I can, however, supply the entry fee of someone else who can not afford it.

Eep. Four days to make the models, set the lighting, touch-up on everything...not enough. I never *did* get started on it, unfortunately. So I guess I won't be participating. Sorry about that...
Still, my offer to supply the entry fee for one participant still stands. If anyone needs the 500 gold, feel free to send me a PM.

I was wondering if you'd have any idea when this competition is going to end? I don't mind waiting because i'd love to see what the others come up with but i'd just like to see a deadline if thats possible
