Regulated One on One Battles

This type of battling is completely voluntary. No one will be forced to use it. However, it is highly suggested that you use it.

Rolls

This type of battling is done between two characters. It relies on 4-sided die ('dice') and the character's level to land/dodge hits. When two members wish to fight they will create a thread in which they'll fight one on one. Other characters are allowed to watch.

In order to hit your opponent you add together your Rank and your Level. After doing that you add it to the 1d4 (one four sided die), which you would have rolled on the same post in which the action was done.

The Rank is your character's Rank, obviously. That's the Lower Bender, Beginner Bender, and Middle Bender, ect. The bonuses for these go as follows.

    SB = +2
    LB = +3
    MB = +10
    HB = +15
    AB = +20

The non-benders, however, receive a different bonus.

    Assassin
    Civ = +1
    Thf = +1 [to attack] +3 [to dodge]
    Asn = +6 [to attack] +10 [to dodge]
    Min = +7 [to attack] +11 [to dodge]
    Bat = +8 [to attack] +12 [to dodge]
    LSh = +10 [to attack] +14 [to dodge]
    MSh = +13 [to attack] +17 [to dodge]
    HSh = +16 [to attack] +20 [to dodge]
    ??? = +18 [to attack] +22 [to dodge]

    Fighter
    Civ = +1
    Mil = +3 [to attack] +1 [to dodge]
    Gru = +10 [to attack] +6 [to dodge]
    Msr = +11 [to attack] +7 [to dodge]
    Bat = +12 [to attack] +8 [to dodge]
    LWr = +14 [to attack] +10 [to dodge]
    MWr = +17 [to attack] +13 [to dodge]
    HWr = +20 [to attack] +16 [to dodge]
    ??? = +22 [to attack] +18 [to dodge]

So if your character is a [LB]-4 ([Lower Bender] - 4), you would always add a 6 (since.. 2 (LB) + 4 (level) = 6) to your 1d4 roll. Whomever has the highest roll between the two duellists has their action occur.

Rank Bonus + Level

Health Points

Each rank has their own amount of Hp with their level added onto it.

The base HP for the ranks are as follows..
    SB = 5
    LB = 20
    MB = 40
    HB = 60
    AB = 80

The non-benders, however, receive a different base health bonus.

    Assassin
    Civ = 5
    Thf = 20
    Asn = 30
    Min = 35
    Bat = 45
    LSh = 55
    MSh = 60
    HSh = 65
    ??? = 70

    Fighter
    Civ = +1
    Mil = 30
    Gru = 45
    Msr = 50
    Bat = 55
    LWr = 60
    MWr = 75
    HWr = 100
    ??? = 125

Continuing from the previous section, with the [LB]-4, we'll give you another example. A [LB] character has the base Hp of 20. Add the 4, from the character's level, and you get 24 health. Health is removed from the person through damage. Damage will be talked about in the next post.

Rank HP Bonus + Level

Damage

When an attack lands on a person they will be dealt damage. The attacker will roll a random number between 1 and their level. So, continuing our [LB]-4 example from before, a [LB]-4 would generate a random number between 1 and 4.
