I was thinking of making/ buying myself a bag for school. Now I need a bog bag like a mini tote so I was thinking of making The blue bag in a different color. What do you think? Or do you have any other Ideas for bags or suggestions? I would love to see them.

That looks like a good, simple bag to make. I can't really think of any suggestions, except to perhaps look through bag patterns at the fabric store. If you like messenger or sling bags, they often have patterns for those, and you could make one in corduroy, and add eyelet lace, or something. Corduroy is more durable than plain cotton, and prettier than canvas.

OMG! I looked at that picture, and I happened to be looking for an idea on decorating my plain white tote bag, so I used that, and it came out really CUTE! instead of just using a heart outlined in flat lace, I cut out pink hearts and sewed some nice non-flat lace on the edges and then sewed that onto the bag. Then, I did the ribbon thing and added some fake white roses to the little bow in the front. I used it the very next day when I went to the mall with my friends.

That's a really great idea. My bag, which I use for EVERYTHING, is just made out of floral upholstry. It works for me, because I like classic lolita a lot, so even though it's dark coloured, it still goes with my style, especially in the winter.
