Hey ya'll, thanks for visiting this subforum.
I was wondering what you thought about this subforum, and how we can improve this independence education subforum so that it is *that* much more of a fun place for people to learn things.
pro-choice, in choosing your fertility options and being empowered with an education in order to make your fertility decisions- you also choose your future.
It is my observation that young people aren't being educated enough on how to "do" real life skills and so I want to do what I can to help connect and empower people with the information so that they can apply "pro-choice" to everyday living.
So please, help me out here and offer some constructive ways to make this subforum work most for YOU. heart

I actually find this forum to be very helpful! I know it has many articles on food and spending money wisely, but what about articles about getting out of debt? I might have missed them if there are any.
p.s. The article on resumes and cover letters helped me get an awesome job at a loose-leaf tea store!

There should be some on perhaps RAISING children/the difficulties thereof.
I work for a childcare, that has some special-needs (autism-spectrum) kids.
And perhaps the ways to pick a good childcare. I work at a good one... if you think it'll be helpful, I'll make a post with some stuff.

How about info on birthing options for those of who choose motherhood? See this trailer if you have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm SO glad I'm not giving birth in the US.

How about living with certain disorders and such?
For example, I have a neurological condition called synesthesia. It causes my senses to overlap -- primarily giving tastes to words and sounds. Because of this, I have funny tastes in my mouth all day and night. I also have some difficulty communicating at times, because using the wrong word can literally make me sick to my stomach.
