Karasu smiled over the rim of her glasses as Imriel sat on the floor, going through a box of the woman's old belongings. The little one loved to go through stuff, sometimes she found the most interesting things. Already she had set aside several outfits to use when she got older, and her little treasure chest was full of little trinkets. Some were from Karasu, some she picked up on their visits to Sabilasi.

"Ooo.." Imriel stood on her tip toes, leaning into the large box far enough to fall in. "Unh.. urrr." The little Ieldi struggled to pull her finding up from the depths of the box.

"You ok there, Imri?" Karasu raised an eyebrow, closing her journal over an empty page. For some reason she couldn't stop watching her little charge long enough to start writing.

"Y-yes.." With one final heave, Imriel fell backwards, a worn leather bag flying over her head as she landed on her bottom. She fluffed her wings indignantly as she righted herself and crawled over to claim her prize.

Karasu smiled. "That's an old herbalist's bag I used back when I traveled more." She set her journal aside and walked over to kneel next to Imriel, who was trying to figure out how to open her new bag. She stopped for a moment to look up at her keeper curiously.

Imriel's eyebrows drew together for just a moment, something resembling recognition passing across her face for an instant before vanishing. "An.. Erb- er.. bull.... what?" She pushed the bag forward, waiting for Karasu to show her how to open it.

"Her-bal-ist, Imri. It's a person who likes to gather plants and mix them for special purposes, like medicine." Karasu slowly unbuckles the strap holding the bag shut, doing it a few times so that Imriel could learn how.

"Oh.. like.. a healer?" Imriel fiddled with the strap after Karasu. She was clumsy, but could get it open without too much trouble now.

"Yes, like a healer." Karasu decided not to mention that it could also be someone who made poisons. "I used to carry plants and different things in it. Also little magical trinkets. I used to make potions with plants too, you know." She smiled warmly.

"You will.. show me?" Imriel pouted cutely.

"In time, perhaps." Karasu gently brushed Imriel's hair away from her face. "But, for now, look at this! There are all sorts of secret compartments in this bag. Here, let me show you."

Imriel nodded, a smiled spreading across her face. She watched Karasu with wide eyes as the woman revealed the hidden pockets and chambers. There were even some empty vials, pouches and a myriad of other small things hidden away. The magic healing plant bag was the bestest thing ever!
