A study on atmospheric perspective... going more for mood than anything else...i hope i acheived that...

It does convey a strong sense of mood. The texture in the background is a little distracting, though.

I think if you made those two towers (especially the one on the left) a bit blurrier and lighter it'd help out the perspective a whole lot.

It certainly is very atmospheric, that sense of depth, endlessness. I love paintings like this.

I did tone down the texture from the original (and i just realized that the two pagodas are on different perspectives... arhgh)

I think i might lighten the left one because the right one is directly in fron ot light and may look washed out if i lightened even more... hmm
