that would be frekin amazing

A game as Sephiroth would be terrible, and I think he is.... beyond fascinating.

Most people have many misconceptions about him, either because they are too biased against him for "needlessly slaughtering Aerith" or for trying to kill Cloud.

And no, his story is not done. He died what, three times? If one considers the incident in the reactor, and the way he was "dormant" inside crystallized mako at the Northern Crater, that's one. Two is at the end of FFVII. The battle was beyond easy and I thought it was a rip off. I'm still getting my a** handed to me by the WEAPONS. That's twice already in one game. And no, the thing you chase after is NOT Sephiroth. It's Jenova. JENOVA. Get it straight.

Jenova mysteriously disappears from Hojo's lab. You follow the TRAIL OF BLOOD "she" leaves behind. You see JENOVA, in the form of Sephiroth, kill the President ShinRa. Then you proceed to follow this "newly resurrected Sephiroth" for the rest of the game. It's Jenova. Not Sephiroth, who was at the Northern Crater encased in mako the whole time.

The third time is in Advent Children. And that still royally irks me. Cloud was practically dead from fighting Loz and Yazoo, obvious in the scene where he stops in the ruins to get his sword together. Then he faces Kadaj. And I would have to hazard a guess that it would have been a pretty easy fight considering the fight scene in the Lost Capital and the Sleeping Forest.

And after that, he has to deal with Sephiroth, who again, nearly kills him with no effort whatsoever. None. Nada. It didn't matter how much skill Cloud gained, a little time in the Lifestream works wonders. Which.... Wasn't that his original goal? To become one with the Planet and absorb its knowledge...? Tsk. Pity everyone forgets that little piece of information.

But... Honestly. One limit break? I don't care how spectacular it is. You don't go from not a single scratch to dead. Cloud isn't that powerful. He couldn't even lay a finger on Sephiroth, not to mention the beautiful artistic way he randomly swings his sword in hopes of hitting something - preferably something in black leather with silver hair.


I could go much deeper into all of it, but why bother? I doubt anyone is even going to read all of what I wrote, if anyone does at all.


The point is, the ideas behind it is underplayed and over rated. A game for him would be pointless. Take over the Planet? Well. It could be fun if you actually get to "sail the cosmos" with this Planet as your vessel. Honestly, how hard would it really be to use the Lifestream to his advantage? Aerith obviously can, Cetra or no. And because of his alien genes and that whole bit with the tainted Lifestream, I would have to assume it would be pretty easy for Sephiroth to as well.


But a lot of this requires actually thinking, putting two and two together to get four, and understanding the characters more than what is actually said about them. Making them real.

Is that honestly so hard?

lol! It would be fun to play as him and fight against Cloud with his Omnislash xd Sometimes it is fun being the bad guy xp

my idea for the vidio game would be before the wutai war that he became a general or even first class soldier. im sure there would be allot you could show about how sephiroth became the sephiroth we know from his first war. have different blades in the beggining and work your way up to gaining masamune as the ultiment weapon. there would be special attacks and jenova cell mode. after enouph kills he could unlock his jenova cell abilities such as increased speed, streangth, materia power, ect and use special abilities. add some bosses like yuffies father for the war or even a mentor or someone as final boss who explains who his fake mother is or maybe implys that he is a monster. making friends with angeal and genisis and such. see things and sephiroths thoughts during the ff7 game after you beat the game.

If they do make one of Sephiroth, make it during the Wutai war, Sephiroth Vs 1 billion wutai soldiers rofl
