Welcome to the Owlery! Watch the floor, there's straw, owl droppings, and regurgitated skeletons of mice and voles all over the place. Since there's no glass on the windows, it can be quite cold and drafty, so watch that. Send your letters or just come say hi to your feathered friend, if you have one.

Clarissa stood in the doorway and scanned for her great horned owl, Aleron. She found where he was perched and crossed the room to get to him. She tried to avoid stepping on the droppings and skeletons as much as possible, but it proved very difficult. Still, she managed to make her way to her owl. "Hey, buddy," She said, sroking his head and giving him an owl treat. "Just figured I'd stop by to say hello."

Alex came in to find Trent, she was worried the last letter he sent would actually make him lose his way back but there he was, sitting in the window sill. She gave him a treat with a letter still clutched in her hand. "Ah, well, I can send this another day Trent, rest your wings." She left after she gave him an extra treat for the distance he had just flown and kissed his feathery head.

Lia walked in and found a school owl, hope it gets there before they plan out the next 4 years of holidays, Lia gave the letter to te owl the was perched on her arm, then she went by the cold stone window and let it fly off her arm, "note to self, next time you come to owlery, don't wear a short sleeved shirt." She looked down at her arm, small sports of blood had formed were her skin had been broken, "sure hope I have some band aids, or cheese cloth at least." Then she walked out of the owlry and went to the Slytherin Common room
