Even though I worked on this for hours, and hours, and hours.. I'm still not all that pleased with it. I always draw heads to big. stressed

I think out of everything, I'm most impressed with the background. o_o I can really tell you worked hard on this.
It's a very nice piece, and very smoooth. <3
The head is a tad too big, but I do like how it looks. The big eyes and scrawny body portrays quite a strong image.

I don't know if you want to change so much of it, now that you've worked so hard. But. The arm is bothering me the most. The arm should be closer to the body, and the elbow shouldn't be jutting out like that.

Eyes and the bridge of the nose don't work for me. You did a good job creating depth in most of the image, but that wristwarmer thingamabob looks flat in contrast to the rest of the picture.

Dr. Valentine Eyes and the bridge of the nose don't work for me. You did a good job creating depth in most of the image, but that wristwarmer thingamabob looks flat in contrast to the rest of the picture. I pretty much agree. the eyes+nose don't work soo good, but I like either one. the eyes are good, but dont work with the nose. and the nose is good, but doesn't work with the eyes. IMO. ALSO: There is a pickture of you on the intarweb. lewl.

lol plz: Yeah, I'm really not interested in changing it, mostly I'm getting input for the next time I decide to torture myself and take another stab at something like this. D:

Dr.Valentine: Yeah, funny story about the sleeve, y'see, it's part of the turtleneck, but I forgot to draw the lines all the way down the arm, so it looks all sorts of wonky now. Dx
THIS NAME IS QUITE SMART: I agree with both of you, I think the real problem is how the right side of the bridge juts out too far. :/ And Picture, where? O:

That part was addressed to me - I've been sort of a nazi about my picture not getting on the internet (I have had issues with internet stalkers and generally undesirable sorts getting my personal infoes in the past). The picture in my sig is the second time my picture has been online ever.

the figure might pop more if you went in and worked on the shading just a bit to include some blacks...not a lot, just a few places it would help.
I like how crisp the rendering of the face/head are, it makes it easier to see the different features. The rest of the body is lacking someone in this refinement. The detail in the hair and eyes seems to suggest to me that there could be more detail in the clothing, such as wrinkes and such.
I agree that the background is really great, it gives just enough atmosphere to the piece. I love smoking subjects, between the posing and the smoke, the pictures always draw themselves XD
