It snowed here not too long ago - and we may get a squall tomorrow! eek

Winter has been so mild it's definitely taken my by surprise - I know we never put the plastic over the windows this year - we may have to do that very soon - our kitchen is freezing without the plastic over the sliding door!!

It's snowing here too. Now if we could just get a big snow like we did in April 2003 I would be happy. I need a couple days off!!!

We had snow again over the weekend, but didn't realize there were another 2-3 fresh inches Sunday night until Jason tried to make it out of the driveway the next morning with both cars and failed many times, eventually having my dad come pick him up out front.

I'm actually sick of the snow and cold and dread walking to Jade's bus stop all bundled up and trying not to slip. The only sidewalk on the other side of the street is covered in a few feet of snow and nobody's going to shovel it, so we have to walk in the street where it's not completely plowed and cars keep going up or down.

I used to love seeing all the heavy snow because of the chance of snow days or delays, but we've had a few of those already and now I just want it all melted so I can wear my capris and sandals and walk on the sidewalk! blaugh

Still snowing here. If this keeps up I may get my wish and everything will be shut down.

good luck!!

....no snow here of course, but it's considerably colder than it has been this winter! 3nodding I miss the snow - at least the initial snowfall and the serene beauty it seems to bring.... it's so boring down here in that regard!!

Not that I've personally seen (not counting the artificial stuff they sometimes do down here; I'm still figuring out *how* 'cuz they somehow manage to do it outside! eek ), but I've heard a story or two. Looking online, I found a reference to one or two light snowfalls but nothing major. Northern Florida (panhandle, etc.) may be more likely to get the occassional snow than here (mid-Florida). Of course, there was some good-sized hail bouncing off our front yard a couple months ago! - does that count?

Yes, snow-covered beaches are kinda odd, but worth the experience!! 3nodding
