If you don't know what G3 is, I'll go ahead and explain.
The G3 Tour is usually held by Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. And usually, they have a guest guitarist come in, and they play together on stage. For instance, one year there was Joe Satch, Vai, and Yngwie Malmsteen on stage all at once. (Great show! Got it on DVD)
This year, Stu Hamm (Bassist for Joe Satch) and Billy Sheehan (Bassist for Steve Vai) are getting together and having their own little bass version of the G3 tour.
So Stu Hamm and Billy Shee are gonna be on stage with one more bassist. Though I forgot who it is at the moment!
And I'm gonna go see it in February. 3nodding
