I've started reading the series again, and when I got to the "Everyone's dead, Dave" part, I just had to watch the series again.
In the first episode, watch where Lister tells the door to close and lock after Rimmer leaves for his exam. A crew member's hand can be seen shutting the door. (Look out the window.)
What bloopers have you noticed?

On this bit in Confidence And Paranoia...
Rimmer: Where's Paranoia? Confidence: Dunno. Is it some place near Uruguay?
... watch Craig Charles's lips. He mouths the line! He also does it during Legion on the Cat's line We're deader tha A line flares with pockets in the knees!
And if you're watching Terrorform, this is a very fast one, but when they're escaping from the Psi moon, there is a flash frame of the cast as they would be seen by the audience. You might have to watch on freeze frame for that.
One more to finish off... During the Cat and Kryten's "Feckles, heckles" argument, watch closely when Lister breaks them up. Kryten has a large splodge of Cat's makeup on his forehead during the two-shot, only for it to disappear on his next close up.

Sweet! I'm going to print these out soon and start rewatching the early episodes. As soon as I finish the books.
Here's one from the book Infinity Loves Careful Drivers. At least I think it's a smeg-up. Lister is taking the fish into stasis with him before they reach light speed. He has to swirl the water to clear it in order to see the "fish." I assume that's a blooper, cause I really doubt mechanical fish foul their water. biggrin
If anyone has the first two books, it's cool to read them and watch the first season at the same time. They're almost word for word in some parts.

That's true. Lister probably dropped little pieces of food in there by accident and over time they mutated into sludge.

After 3 million years, anything can happen. Although I'm surprised that the batteries hadn't died yet.

I have a good one. On the episode "Ploymorph" where Lister is making the "Sharmy Kebab Diablo" and he throws the mixture into the mircowave you can see someone's hand take a piece of paper on the bottom of it (Probably to take the mess away) and then when Lister opens the mircowave for a split seccond just after the rood has been opend you can see the plates of food being put inside it. biggrin

I don't know what episode/season it's from, but I found this cute outtake where Rimmer is lying in a bed and some girl (a doctor?) is tending to him, so he takes advantage and kisses her. She pulls away, exclaiming, "What are you doing?!" And his reply is, "I'm giving you a big wet snog with oodles of Tommy Tongue." (or something like that - it's hard to tell)
Then you hear someone off the set saying, "That was good," indicating the take is over. Chris Barrie winks at the camera and then he says, "One of the perks of the job, love" in a nice Ace Rimmer kind of voice. Then, "Do we need to do it again by any chance?" xd
I'd do it again, for sure. redface

In Kryten, when we see Kryten doing the chores Rimmer set for him, he's washing the floor in one take, but there's no water in the bowl!
