Tui smiled happily and turned her gaze back to the sunset. She couldn't help but feel a rather strange affection for this male, something she had never felt before. Perhaps an adolescant crush? Or maybe something more? Her grandmother had explained to her all aboutn the feelings you lions and lionesses experienced, and Tui found these feelings she had towards Yua rather similar to those.
Glancing at the male for a moment, Tui inched closer to him and gently set her tail on his. She kept her gaze on the sunset as if nothing had happened, but she could feel her heartbeat grow quicker.

In any other case, Yua would have gone SHOOTING off to one side in surprise. In this one, however, he simply blushed, refraining from leaning away from the closeness. He'd allow it. She'd, as of yet, earned the right to invade his bubble as she was doing. Leaning a bit against her side, he spoke before he could help himself;
"Would you like me to go with you when you speak to your father? Or would you prefer if I just lingered about for you to catch up with me?" he inquired, looking down at the female by his side. It was strange.
Can I keep her?
It was more of the innocent question a kid would ask their parents when they dragged a puppy into the house, moreso than anything more serious. But he was unable to answer that question himself.
That would be, ultimately, up to her.

It was Tui's turn to blush now, as she looked to him with a bright smile. "You mean... you'd like me to stay with you? Would that be alright? If I traveled with you?" She asked, eyes sparkling happily once again. "I would love for you to come with me! It would be much easier to explain that way." She tilted her head to the side and smiled brightly to him once more. "Thank you, Yua!"
Without really knowing what she was doing, she nuzzled her head against him for a few moments, before blionking and pulling away quickly. She became bright red and smiled nervously. "Ehehe... Sorry." She said, knowing she was already very far in his personal space.

It was nearly enough to make his brain stop functioning, as he blushed profusely at the strange attention he was receiving. "Well.. yeah. I mean.. it's nicer to travel in company..." he agreed, looking away with a sort of nervous posture, always linked with teenage affection and it's awkwardness.
He looked back to her after recovering his brain-function, and smiled. "Alright then. Tomorrow we got and see your father." he beamed, though internally, he was hoping that it wouldn't get him killed on a series of different levels. He'd heard before that there were MANY fathers that were like that towards their daughters and the strange boys they dragged home with them.
Ara-ara.
It was a bit daunting to say the least.

Tui smiled and inched herself a little closer to him, so she could lean against him. She watched the sun as it finally dissapeared below the horizon, and she laid down with a happy sigh. "I hope he likes you." She said as she looked up at him from her spot. "I certainly do." She smiled brightly and yawned, then set her head down on her paw.

Laying down at her side, Yua leaned his weight against hers, resting his head on his paw next to hers, though not closing his eyes, simply thinking for a few minutes.
"I'll have to make a good impression then." he agreed, closing his eyes, "We'll see how it goes." Yua yawned, before allowing himself to drift off to sleep.
