I've been staring at the Volk's site for the past few days and I am incredibly annoyed with how much information is not posted on their site. D: I thought maybe someone here would have the answers I seek <3

I want to get an EB Beauty dollfie base, which is all well and good. I'm assuming all of the optional dollfie heads (that come with hair XD) will fit on there and all that good stuff. Okay.

The trouble starts when I go to look at the clothing. The size differences between the Dollfie and Dream Dollfie aren't specified. In face, DD's height isn't even posted on the site. @_@ Some of the Dollfie clothing fits DD, but does it go the other way around? Most of the outfits I like were tailored for DD, but I don't have over $200 to drop on an unfinished doll base.

My question is this: Are Dollfie and Dream Dollfie the same size? If not, where do they differ? Are their clothes interchangable? What about their shoes?

Also, I'm an absolute newbie with these dolls. I have no idea what tools or accessories I should be getting. I know I need to do the faceup myself and the eyes as well, but is there anything else I should be buying?

Volks, you need a starter kit. Dx

@_@ I should email Volks with suggestions to make the site easier to browse.

Dollie Dreams are about 22 inches high and roughly the same size as a Super Dollfie.

But Dollfie Dreams and Super Dollfie bodies do greatly differ. Super Dollfies are more child-like in appearance and have thicker waists, smaller breasts and plumper thighs. They have smaller feet too.

So... If you're up to make some adjustments, some Super Dollfie clothes may fit a Dollfie Dream but not vice versa. It would be the bust size I'd worry about, since a waist is easy to alter but you can't easily add fabric.

Thank you, that's exactly what I needed to know. biggrin

..That being said, maybe I'll just be crazy and get a DD. @_@

DD's are nice. They have great posing and the DDII body is really pretty.

It is, my Emma is a DD and I took her to Volks in LA rescently to try on SD stuff; for the most part they fit but its baggy on her since she has a fine waist and the SDs do not really have waists.

I think the term of SD bodies is "built like a brick." XD
