Dakolin had seen it. The body. The corpse.
He was dead. He was really, really, really dead. That b*****d finally got his, and while it wasn't in the brother's personality to bound around happily in a foreign land, inwardly, he was rejoicing. Just as he'd been told, Phantom's body was rotting at the bottom of that cliff.
Lovely. Wonderful.
"The plauge on the family is gone," he breathed. It often seemed as though he was speaking to the wind. Some just saw him talking to himself, and thought him crazy, too. Maybe he was. But he was still far different from that b*****d Sky. Or Phantom or whatever he'd been calling himself prior to his downfall...
Downfall. What a word!
But that left one other wolf: Gyani. His sister, the poor thing. He'd never been all that attached to anyone, and that included his family. That didn't mean he wanted any harm to come to them, save for the recently deceased, and he had been concerned Gyani had suffered death as well, perhaps by the jaws of her own sibling.
Standing atop the large chuck of rock, he howled loudly.

Time had passed so quickly, like a blur, to the female. That voice hadn't shut up as she'd hoped it would, and now it had some sort of name, wich she could never recall. Though she found herself crazy, Gyani had apperently learned many things, imagine that! She'd already done various things after the voice showed up, saved a bleeding deer, and a few other prey-like creatures, if she found them whenever she wasn't hungry, or if the voice convinced her that this was a good way to learn how to use her so said 'powers'.
She'd found not only could she cure, on one particular occasion, the voice had made her poison something, a squirrel, she'd hated it, and refused to do it again. Now she had merely been trotting along the woods, having just eaten, but not tired, she was enjoying a moment of peace.
But then, a howl. It was almost automatic to go investigate, and subconciously, her paws carried her in the direction of the sound, forgetting to give an answer, as she hadn't seen any wolves in a while.
Finally, they took her to the destination, and a scent wafted to her nostrils. Familiar, and not.She thought it as Phantom, something from her puphood, but catching sight of the shape on the rock, it obviously couldn't be. Besdies, Phantom wasa bit different in scent too.
Gynani barely took notice about her staring. It was from her puphood, yes. Odd. Was this another sibling? She didn't know any other had survived, but come to think of it, maybe there had been more, yes. Maybe, just maybe, another had lived through the hunters. But the female didn't remember much at all of her family, she'd never been so close to them, because of that blasted marking.
Da. It started with Da, right?
"Hello? " She said quietly, she knew someone was there, so no need to question. But she was lost in though, and nothing of it involved what she was going to say to this supposed brother.

"You're alive," Dakolin stated. Although the words led on he was speaking to Gyani, but with the fact he wasn't looking at her added with his tone of voice, it was just as likely he was speaking to himself. Which, for this family, apparently wouldn't be too unusual.
There was something wrong with all of them, wasn't there? The difference was they were alive.
"The cursed one is alive," he continued, gracefully strolling toward his sibling and circling her, as if he felt the need to confirm that she wasn't a ghost nor a walking corpse. "Our brother is dead now, as well. Did you help?"
Blunt, yes. But it was Dakolin's style to skip the small talk and get straight to the point.

The female sat down as this other came close, her mind was more messed up now. She gaped now, turning her head and trying to follow Dakolin as he circled her. "Cursed? " She blinked, then remembered her own past and nodded. "Yes, yes. " Her tail flicked. Gyani didn't pay much attention to what this wolf said, than what he was.
"Sky? Sky is dead? " Ah, yes. Phantom was what they'd called her other brother, the Sky that was dead. But then something finally clicked in her mind 'our'. To be Sky's brother, he had to be her brother. And now she was sure this was her brother who'se name started with Da.
"Da. Dakolin. " She said finally. Yes, Dakolin, that'd been the name. "How did you escape the hunters? " She asked bluntly, seeming to not give much thought over Phantom's death, after seeing what he'd done, Gyani was actually relieved of his death.

Red eyes rolled in a circle. Had this one lost her mind, too? But she didn't seem to be the same type of crazy as Sky. Not the kind that needed to be killed off immediatly.
"Yes, Dakolin," he comfirmed, as if speaking to a small puppy. "Hunters?" The word was echoed in a state of cluelessness. "I don't know what you're talking about, Gyani."

She paused, gaping at her brother. He hadn't been around, so thats how he survived. "After they chased me away. Hunters came and killed the pack. " She rested her tail over a rhind paw, ears flicking curiously foreward.
"You didn't know, Dakolin? Killed everyone. Then I killed them. " Gyani, unlike Sky, hadn't attemptedto seehow many had died, if all of them had. Maybe if she had checked, this probably would be less confusing.
