I think that's the right spelling, the horn parts are AMAZING!!
and it sounds like it was pulled out of lord of the rings...great music!!

We might play American Elegy by Frank Ticheli.
It's such a moving song, and I fell in love with it.
It was written in memory of the lives lost at the Columbine shootings.

American Elegy?.....I played that before in Wind Ensemble :3 But someone mentioned Armenien Dances...? I'm tired of that one; play it every summer in the park band -_-

Last year we played Vesuvius, and man that ROCK, the Tuba part was just sooo much fun to play! xd

i've played both of those and they're both really good--totally agree about the baritone solo even though i'm a t-bone player--but nothing even comes close to Carmina Burana, all 13 movements. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
we're only doing movements 1,2,3,5,6,9,12, and 13, but it is still THE SINGLE MOST EPIC SONG I'VE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!
