*Golden eyes scanned the area as the male wolf slowly padded onward in no real direction. The winds blew tiredly at his face as he turned and gazed back at the female wolf that slowly travailed along side him. Perhaps she was tired… her movement was slow, but it would seem that in general she was slow. Her body was so frail and thin after all… he didn’t want to exhaust her. With a soft smile his ears pinned along side his skull as he spoke out to her.*
“How about we rest here for a while?”
*His tail batted from side to side as he gave her another smile; even if she seemed very sad… he would do his best to make her smile—and though he was only really around for hunting, due to him offering to help hunt for her… he felt he should at least try to make the time he spent with her enjoyable, because he did enjoy the time they spent together. He disliked being alone, so to him she was a true blessing.*
“And I could go look for something to eat…?”

Tamiko-chan Whisper walked along side the male, holding up better than he could imagine. Before him, she had still been skinny and fragile, yet she learned to hold her own and to continue on despite everything. She had to, otherwise she would have been gone by now and not walking with him.
As he mentioned resting, she smiled softly at him. She could have gone on for longer, but she figured there was no point in pushing herself too hard.
"Yes, a rest sounds nice."
Stopping, she immediately settled onto her haunches then proceeded to sink down to her belly. She crossed her forepaws and rested her head upon them, her whole body leaned a bit to her left. Her shoulder was beginning to hurt again. It seemed that her old injury never really fully healed, despite the help she had received from that shaman.
At the mention of food, Whisp's stomach growled rather loudly. Folding her ears back in slight embarassment, she nodded slowly. "Food would be nice, too."
She only hoped she wasn't imposing on him too much. It must've be a pain, hunting for two all by himself.

neokitsune White paws with pink pads struck against the ground as the red and white husky marked wolf chased down the rabbit at the speed of what looked as if it were light. The rabbit ducked and dodged but the wolf kept right on its heels, his two toned eyes sharp and his tongue lolling from his mouth as he bared his fangs and furrowed his triangle marked brow in concentration.
He had been starving for days, his stomach snarling at him to catch something, anything, but he was in an area of the mountains that didn't throw many food-esque creatures into the world. So he'd ran around for five nights on an empty stomach before this hare unwittingly presented itself to him.
Food.
That was all his brain had needed for him to shoot of after the poor scared creature, thus ending in the inevitable:
CRACK!
The rabbit's neck snapped in half as Aka leapt and dug his fangs deep down into the small creatur's neck and rolled across the ground for his efforts. Blood splashed over his white fur and the wolf dropped the carcass with a grin of happiness, his two toned eyes dancing with happiness as his stomach growled loudly enough for any surrounding creatures to hear. ninja

“Alright then.”
*Ashkie smiled softly before turning himself away from her. At first he was preparing himself to take off for hunting but a sudden snapping sound pulled his ears back and with a soft frown the male stood very still. Was someone else here?—he couldn’t tell… he would have to investigate and see w hat it was that made this noise. Moving his sight back to Whisper he spoke.*
“… Wait here.”
*Apart of him didn’t want to leave her unprotected… but the sound came from a far enough direction, distance was a good thing; with drawn back ears he started off into the woods. The mountains were new to him.... so he had to keep a close eye out for any sudden movement; unlike the wood back by the river… this place was painted with rock and stone that protruded from the earth unlike anything he had ever seen before. Stopping for a moment the youthful male sighed and gazed off into the unknown…
He wanted to know what dwelled within this new land… yet now was not the best time. He had Whisper to think of and leaving her alone for a long period of time… in her current state, wasn’t really the best idea. He wouldn’t leave her all alone; with a soft sigh Ash snapped back into reality and quickly took off in his set direction again.
But this time he found himself stopping at the sent of blood. With narrowed eyes he gazed into the wood and sniffed the air once more. The sent was near…*
