I always thought
True love was just
A fairy tale
Collecting dust.
But when, in time
I saw it through
The thing itself
Indeed came true.
Another English poem. I got a B. It was supposed to be "Two sanzas, the first being the subject and the second being the preticate." He said I messed up on that part, I thought I had done right. AND I even metered it. Do you know how much meter and I disagree? You'll understand when I post my one thing...the song...I forget what it's called and I haven't typed it up yet. But anyway. Meter=evil. I was very angry about my B, if only becuase my friend's poem, which she had written as a joke and wasn't even going to turn in but ended up turning in becuase she forgot to write a new one, got an A.
I hate my english teacher with a burning passion. Seriously, (when he actually grades our stuff), he is the most biased and unfair and comlpetely unprofessional grader ever. He has no real reason to grade anything. That other poem, the tell the truth by lying one, got an A. It's okay, but I don't think it's A quality.
I don't much like how sappy it is, but eh, it's a poem.

um...if the second line's supposed to be the predicate, I can see. The verb is the predicate too.
Not sure if that's wat you mean...
I hate assholes. -_-

Gah. English teachers = evil
I have an evil English teacher too--she won't give anything an A unless it exceeds expectations. Pht. But I guess it is good because it pushes a writer's mind and possibilities.
Poem: short and sweet, but I like it. biggrin It's kind of like a short mystery; a book covered with dust and then blown off and shown to the light in the end. Nice.

My writing teacher will give out no bigger grade than a 92 for homework. 92! Totally ruins my average! Grr! For my actually long stories, I'm pretty sure she doesn't even read them anymore, just slaps an A+ on it and calls it good, 'cause I read through and find a hundred mistakes she didn't correct like she did for others.
