or should we only support tax cuts when they're A) across the board and B) being cut because we've finally done away with social security and welfare?

If those points are met, yes. By all means, slash-and-burn.

But a Congress/Administration that cuts taxes while increasing spending, thus increasing the size of government regardless is worse than a "tax and spend" group, in my mind. I'll take slightly higher income tax over a guaranteed inflation tax any day of the week.


i agree. though lower taxes are quite an excellent thing in the short term, if they are coupled with higher spending, it will just send the US deeper in to debt. I believe i speak for all of us when I say a balanced budget is a good thing and should (and i think is) a primary goal of the libertarian party.

well, the government is only argueably corrupt now. i guess i'll move to canada when elections start getting violent
