((Right! Any reindeer are very welcome to RP, the more the merrier!))
The white-faced bull cropped at the short grass beneath his hooves. The darker streaks that ran from his eyes resembled the stains of welled and trailed tears, though ever dry as rest of the reindeer's face. His eyes seemed dull and listless - lazy, even - though only one who knew the bull incredibly well would know. Of course, few had ever known the bull well. He was a beast of few words, though a ferocious and courageous fighter. And those who did had either left or died. And it was perhaps this that hurt the bull the most.
Breyan's eyes flickered barely visibly as he reminded himself to watch for any suspicious signs. He shook his head of antlers. They were thick and strong, to match with his burly, yet somehow lightweight body. He was not, perhaps, the swiftest runner, but the way he was built belied the strength that he possessed when he did find the need to run.
The bull returned to cropping at the grass. Today may well be as dull as any other...

(woo, now I’m a bit nervous to reply XD. Kay like I tell everyone before I start Rping, I’m kind of still learning >.< so feel free to point out if I should do something different)
Shouldered hunched and she plowed powerfully forward, head bent low as to not get her antlers caught in any of the branches. Keir pushed her way forcefully though the shrub. Though not a hard task she but in an extra gusto into her stride, simply due to the fact that she was having a great day.
Bursting from the bushes she continued to trot proudly forward, shaking her antlers out and lifting her head up high, a smug grin crossing her lips as she moved on along the edge of herbage. Her Patrol had gone well, though she often enjoyed doing her outrider duties, but not only that. She had won in her resent sparing match against another pompous female who had been mouthing off to Keir for one day to loud. Immensely Proud of herself she didn’t notice at first that there was another Raindeer in the aria. In fact it took a moment of starring at him to realize that the bull was actually real, and not a figment of her imaginations. Slowing her trot down to a halt she perked her ears up curiously at the bull, vaguely remembering him, though she was certain she had never spoken to him. She furrowed her brow; he sure did have impressive antlers, she thought to herself, eyeing them enviously.

By the sound of the thud of hooves on the ground, Breyan knew that another reindeer - smaller than him, perhaps a cow - was nearing, long before she came into view. There was a spring in that step of hers that conveyed a feeling. A feeling of... happiness? Pride, perhaps? Confidence? He had no way of knowing, and the feelings had long faded into distant memory within the burly bull. They were no longer a reality for him, simply a wisp of something long forgotten that lingered there and refused to leave him.
He lifted his head almost wearily from the grass as the Outrider cow neared, his eyes taking a moment to focus. He felt himself withdraw into his shell, the one he had erected around himself to protect against anymore pain that could come from becoming attached to anyone, and he didn't stop himself. He simply stood.

Well she would not deny it. This was definitely an odd one, just as still and as careful as she observed him; he seemed to be even more careful now that she was around, as if she was some kind of threat to be weary of. Though the thought could be insulting, she found she didn’t really care about being insulted. She was more interested however, in the blank distant look in his eyes. Was this an example of what would eventually happen to outriders?
Blinking slowly a couple of times she shifted her front hooves back a bit. Then opened her mouth to try and drown out the awkward silence that had fallen since he looked up. “I’m not a wolf or a predator” she said with a hint of sarcasm “so you can stop starring at me like that” she finished with a slight frown.

Breyan simply shrugged and averted his eyes, refusing to rise to the bait and already biting back a retort that had first sprang to his tongue. Arguing spelled an eventual closeness. Something he would go against all odds to keep away. From his experience, he remembered that argument tended to draw beings closer, rather than push them farther away.
Breyan's home was silence. If such a thing were possible. He sank into the noiselessness he was so comfortable with, making sure he never stared again at the Outrider cow. He did not return to his grazing, nor did he budge an inch. He simply stood and waited. For what, even he did not know.

She waited a moment, for something, anything. Though he did stop staring at her, that’s all he did. Pressing her ears back against her skull mouth open slightly in both confusion and concern that this Bull might not be in his right state of mind, Perhaps one to many sparing matches. If he was ignoring her at least he could do it right, move or something, but just by standing there it was acknowledging that he knew she was there, so… He was pretty much ignoring her… but not. The thought confused her even more, and started to annoy her. “Whats wrong with you?” she said bluntly tilting her face down, though keeping her bright eyes on him, raising a brow.

Breyan's almost lifeless gaze met the cow's bright-eyed one, and for a second, some recognition of that look seemed to flicker like a ghost through his eyes, but then it was gone and the same dull look had returned. Again, the bull shrugged, although he was no longer lazily sagging against his own frame, but rather holding himself more upright than before. What was wrong with him? That question he knew the answer to. He was tired. So tired of life and all the pain that accompanied it. But he said nothing, only meeting her gaze with his and conveying anything he wanted to say through it.

He seemed to have heard her; his reactions showed his response, though not exactly sure how to translate it, the way his eyes looked gave her a better picture oh how he might have answered. But still, there was more silence between them. Lifting her head a little higher with her face still slanted down she turned to look around; semi hoping there was another reindeer in the aria. Seeing none however she looked back awkwardly at the bull. “so… why aren’t you talking?”

Breyan looked at her uncertainly. It was obvious he would hardly be able to worm his way out of having to get to know this cow as he had so many times before. Words just came, and she didn't seem too willing, or ready, to leave.
"Speech is but a means for those who cannot keep silent," He said simply in his deep bass voice, obviously reluctant to part with even so few words.

A figure quietly walked a hilltop on the horizon... the black faced bull going about his usual duties. Oeric's mind however, was elsewhere... but the routine had implanted in his brain so thoroughly. That he didn't even need to think about his route anymore.
Yet, something seemed to catch Oeric's attention as he suddenly paused. Forehooves coming together as he stood tall... looking across the plain and toward the other two reindeer. Ears flicked forward, recognizing Keir, the cow he met the other day. The bull he wasn't as familiar with.
