i'm sure everybody's heard of them by now. the problem is, which piercers have heard of them? i'd kill to get a few (apparently they have a much more successful healing rate than regular surface piercings) but nobody in my hometown does 'em. aaargh.

anybody know anything more? anybody have one?

oh, and if you don't know what i'm talking about, go here.

I actually just heard about them like an hour ago. I was almost surprised. Sorry I'm not of more help.

I'm mainly just glad to see something better than those strange little modified nostril-screws being used in the procedure. I was so fascinated by the dermal implant procedure, but a little leery of how loose the fish-tailed implants seemed to look actually in skin.

I've been in love with the concept of metal on the back of my hands since I had a misfortuned hand-webbing piercing done with curved barbells for a modification photo shoot a few years back. This procedure gives me a way to actually make my lust for a faux-webbing piercing back from my thumb viable and permanent.

I would consider getting a sort of design implanted on my nape as well, something that wouldn't interfere with the Pisces constellation I'm getting tattooed there. Maybe some key stars highlighted with microdermals? That would be totally hot. heart

Wow. I just read about them and I think it's pretty ewesome. I don't think they do 'em where I live though. At least not for now. xP

I'd like to get them done along an arm or back (after a corset piercing with surface barbells I suppose). I like how they can last much longer than a regular surface piercing.
