Where was she now? That smell! That smell she knew that smell, nose to the ground she scrambled around frantically, tail low, ears folded back. The white pelted wolfess padded along, scurrying against the earth, that smell! She was looking for the crimson color with her silver eyes, looking for the blood. She could smell it, fresh, mhmmm, made her stomach growl. She was so hungry, hadn't eaten well in so long. That smell, damn it where was it coming from?!

Ohka gave up, flopped onto her side in a small clearing in the middle of a thicket, she had come across this place while she was alone, and dreaming. Oh the glorious daydreams, wolves falling, no, there was crying, but oh the smell, the color crimson, too much to turn from!

She curled her tail about her, she was hungry, would do anything to feel that warm crimson run down her throat, she peered at her paws, the color that remained on them. They reminded her of her family, how she was banished. That day was just a blur. Why did she always have to be alone, why? Would no one understand her? She would do anything for food, for ocmpany, for anything, she hated this life, wanted a new one.

But she doubted she could point herself in the right direction.

Mrost could smell blood, he always could, he breathed in the scents of living things like a dying man in a desert would breath in the fresh scents of an oasis on the horizon. He was obsessed, obsessed with the pleasures of the flesh, murder, satisfaction, opression. He was a terrible alpha, too demanding of those he had led, pushing them too hard, punishing them too often, not allowing for the fact that they did not thrive on the madness that he did.

He wandered like a shadow through the undergrowth, moving with speed and purpose, never slowing in his pace, only stopping when his body gave up form over-exertion. He pushed himself as hard as he had his subjects, it seemed.

Today however, there was a scent on the wind, that teasing, coaxing scent of life. He imagined he could hear the heartbeat that went with that smell, the perfect glimmer of life that hid within it's fleshy prison. He sought out those sparks, sought to bring them under his control, to dominate them, use other living creatures as objects, fit only to placate his insatiable madness and lust.

Drawing neared to where Ohka was he grinned to himself, his tail swishing behind him, his slitted eyes glittering as she drew into sight. Nothing pleased him more than the sight of a female of his own species. They fought so hard against those who tried to break them, he'd found and he treated them like a game only he knew the rules to.

With a snarl like a buzzsaw he leapt clear into view.

"It'sss not safe to be out here alone." he hissed with a smirk.

Ohak was dreaming, dreaming of the kill, mhmm it was nice. The feeling of blood upon her pelt, dripping from her maw, the maniac grin she held in the dim of the moonlight. All fallen, they deserved it, all of them, they made ehr leave, made her not have a home, made her insane in one respect or another.

Soon she heard another, flinched at the sight of another intruding her space, she schooched backwards, folded ears pressed against her skull, was he going to hurt her? She would fight back, she was oddly tiny for her age, had always been a runt, but would always fight, no matter what, she and the thing inside her refused to give up.

"Perhaps...who're you stranger? This spot is mine...the smell is for me not you, go away stranger, not welcomed you are...beast inside and hungry, anything for a meal, anything..." her silver eyes narrowed. The beast inside was even seeing this male as a meal now. But the color blue, so nice, such a loving color. And his markings, mhmm, intriguing, who was this stranger?

Mrost laughed derisively as the female moved back from him as he arrived. Yes, that was the way he liked them to behave, with respect and fear. Draw back from the blue monster or he'll rip your throat asunder. He circled Ohka like a dying prey, still snarling to himself, his hackles bristling, he was always tense, always paranoid, ready to strike. He didn't care if those he harmed fought back, if he died on the offensive then so be it. Death didn't exist for him, the blackness beyond didn't even once trouble his thoughts. He acted on what he wanted and betrayed on a whim.

He held his head aloft pridefully, looking down at the strange female, he'd met many in his life so far, some normal, some driven to madness by his demands. None had ever produced a satisfactory pup for him and therefore none had ever survived.

Innocent blood on the snow. It laced his memory like electricity, the thoughts cracked and ruined with time.

"I am Mrost." he said the name as though it was one all should know, his arrogance knowing no bounds. He drew nearer still to the female, caring not for her warnings of the beast inside whatever that might be.

"Let the beast come then for my beast lies not within, but very much on the outside." His skewed grin only spoke of the truth of his words.

Ohka growled back, low, almost in a whisper, part of her was shy, another part ready for the attack. Other hidden parts of her skewed about with those two. Such a confusing mind for her, but she dealt as best as she could, she got by each day living how she believed it was to be intended, her alive, not dead yet.

"Mrost? Strange name stranger, why are you here?" she tilted her head, an innocent look upon her, but soon it quickly fading, narrowed eyes, "We don't like you here go away, not welcome... too close...too hungry we are..." she spoke softly yet rough all the while when she was trying tog et away from his approaching figure.

She padded forward quickly to head-butt him, not hard, just a warning, a soft warning, then she scooted back. "Not liking you here, might hurt you, too hungry go away, anything for food...don't want to be alone...Ohka doesn't like this anymore..." she spoke rambling. He was dangerous yet intriguing all at once.

What about him? The blue, the markings? Something, it was drawing the beast towards him, inner self wanting him, wanting him wanting her. But another part fleeting, wanting to be safe, innocent, but that would never be.

Mrost was only goaded to higher states of emotional intensity by her echo of his growl. He could feel from her very words and movements echoes of his own deep rooted madness. His snarl never faded out entirely, seeming to vary in it's loudness along with his thoughts and their nature. Already the old urges were returning, that insane power lust, the desire to have and to totally dominate even the most fractured soul.

"I am here because I choose to be, I do not explain myself to lessers" the letter r in lessers was drawn out into a rumbling snarl before he went on, laughing loudly at her request for him to leave. "Oh we are all hungry." he said, those cold blue eyes wide to their whites, his black tongue licking across his lips. "Hungry and angry. Such fury as there never was."

As she head-butted him, he lashed out like a lunatic with his fangs, bringing them together with a snap on the air where she had been only seconds before, his hackles resuming their fully bristling state. "Do not touch a god unless you wish to incur it's wrath." he twisted his maw into another unnatural grin, stepping forward towards Ohka nearer and nearer with no regard for personal space, creepy and twisted. Where most would hear madness in her words, his mind heard what it wanted.

"Food is easy. Throats are fragile, the spark goes out too easily, always out of reach." his breath caught in his throat as he let out another rumbling growl "All that matters is mine."

She frowned, growled at his attempt to bite her, no, she would be the one doing to biting here, this was her spot, she had to defend it. She lowered herself to the ground however, showing submission, but growled all the same, showing her want to dominate, own what was hers. Her spot, not his.

"Angry and hungry, anything for food. A god? Can this blue God Mrost make food come? Anything for food Ohka would do...so hungry, tired, not wanting to be alone," she rambled on, crawling somewhat closer to him, towards his paws. Not touching, just marveling at his pelt color, his strength in his eyes. So he was a god? Could gods rule over anything? Should she be nice?

No! Her spot not his!

She growled a bit in her throat, more a crooning type growl, she wanted food yet wanted to be supreme in her place, her spot. Yet she didn't want to be alone, hunger within her, yearning for something more she never knew. What was this feeling? Did the god know?

"What is Mrost making Ohka feel? Why does god do these things to Ohka? Our spot not yours, anything for food god anything, what must Ohka do?"

The blue ex-alpha loomed over Ohka magnanimously as she cowered, still careful not to expose his throat of underbelly to her. Far too many wolves would submit to pull the wool over his eyes and then use it to their advantage. So ungratefully, rejecting the gift of his attention that he had bestowed upon them. This female facinated him, she was like a broken mirror, beautiful in her fractured mind. He made his mind up that one way or another he would have her, make her his and try to understand what had been the thing to break her, in doing so perhaps understanding the darkness that threatened to consume him.

"Food can come." he said "Death can be dealt easily, the carcass brought back for a hungry soul to feast on." He smirked. The idea of feeding another creature repulsed him, it spoke of weakness, something intolerable to him, but nevertheless his own wants and ends came first so he could concede for now, could lower himself to the level of the others. He wasn't alpha again yet but he would be, would make them bow and scrape at the feet of their implacable, illustrious leader.

At her second growl he made another move, made the move to try and pin Ohka under his forepaws, he didn't care if he succeeded or not, his actions were rarely thought out. Either way he hissed in a near whisper.

"All life has a heartbeat, all life has desires that surge beneath the surface, I can smell them, hear them, so near as to be almost near enough to touch." He made to lick her nose, or, failing that, his own smirking like a demon.

"Come with me and I will assure that food with be yours."

Food and death? Did they link somehow? She reminisced back to the day he was labeled a killer, when her own mother and father looked at her with a displeasing gaze, how her brothers and sisters turned away from her, none standing up to help her in her time of need. Labeled a murderer, a killer, that drove her to become that of which she was labeled. But some light remained in her torn and beaten body. A broken soul and heart within her tiny frame.

Ohka watched Mrost move, tried to move away but couldn't cowered and shook as he got close enough, nearly snapped at him when he successfully pinned her. She wriggled and strained against him, not knowing what it would do to him. But she wanted power too! She wanted to be dominant in her place! But it wasn't working, and the touch of another against her was a new sensation, made her warm, want something more, but what could it be? Something she never knew?

Probably.

Ears perked up with the mention of food, desires? She had them too. Mrost was truly a god, perhaps he could read her thoughts like the seers and shamans of her birthpack could? Did he know why she was how she was? Did he understand?

Seemed like it.

She wriggled and whined and soft whine, not of complaint against his lick to her nose, but another type, a tone she had not known she could make in her throat. Something was happening, she was shaking, she craned her neck up so she could nuzzle her head beneath his chin. He was so warm, so different like she was.

Could he save her?

"Food yes, anything for god, for Mrost yes, Ohka doesn't want to be alone, don't leave Ohka alone god, anything for god..." then she moved her head from where it was, openly exposed her neck to him. Why? She wasn't sure. Somehting in the back of her mind wanted it though, to connection between them both, him marking her.

Oh yes, glorious it would be

Nothing thrilled Mrost in his sadistic way than the stuggles of others under his paws. As she struggled he just put more weight into the hold, drawing his white clawed paws in tighter. He was an alpha in his own mind and would have no insubordination. He leant his face in nearer, near enough that she'd be able to scent the blood on his breath, to literally feel the snarl that came and went like waves as he breathed. He would never surrender the control he had and it was for that reason that he found himself fighting against the submissive actions of the female, whether or not she was aware she made them. Instincts fought with self control as he shoved back his most primal thoughts. No. There was more control to be exerted, he could not let others control or decide his actions, no matter how small.

He smirked, the word god ringing like song in his ears. He could convince himself that he was a god, a being transcendent of all others. It was the only way to justify the way he behaved, his narcissistic tendencies shoving aside the wants of others.

"We are all alone. From birth till the day we die under cloudy skies." he whispered with a smirk "It is only while we live that we can seek out that spark in others, make it our own be it with our teeth and claws or other means.." Still, there was protocol to be followed and in a twist on the usual alpha actions he leant in over her exposed throat and licked a line across her white fur, a most potent reminder that for that instant he had the ability to tear her throat open but had declined to.

He breathed in her scent and drew back, pulling away from those scents of life, of blood just beneath the warm surface. Away from that warmth that threatened to usurp his control.

She whined under his touch, his grip tightening, it hurt but another part of her was reeling in it, his touch, his voice his actions, she struggled again, seeing how it seemed to tempt him into something. Ohka craned her neck up again to nibble under his throat gently, yet with his grip her head fell back again. Then she felt his tongue on her neck.

Ohka made a sound, a strange sound, like the purring of a mountain lion, yet in the growl of a wolf. How strange, yet it felt wonderful, yes truly wonderful. 'Do you feel it? Yes, lies within, a part of you, feel teh ache and pain? Give in, the tears have fallen before, unleash the beast to revel in the emotions...her mind spoke and she whined again and struggled.

Though she got angry, she frowned, eyes narrowed. She didn't want to be alone anymore, Mrost was here, he was a god, a god was supposed to help right? Why would he leave her alone if he was here now? Where was the food! He promised food!

"What does Ohka have to do for god to have god bring food? Anything of Ohka for Mrost she we will do, anything, no more alone now, tired of alone..." she hated it, despised it with every fiber of her being. She had always been alone since that day. She hated it, hated it so much it made her whimper and cry in the night under the moon.

"Anything..." she whimpered now, voice soft, she nibbled under his chin, closed her eyes. She felt like she wnated to cry, from fear of him or from thinking of times past, she wanted it to be better, see a better thing, feel better, different from now. She wanted it all to change.

Mrost's eyes went momentarily wide at the gentle nibble on his throat. He had been foolish to leave it open, such a tormentable thing. His control slipped once again and his snarl receded to a rumble in the depths of his chest. Regardless of what he did, he was in control, wasn't he? Every choice was one made by the infallible alpha, even taking advantage of this female, as fractured and faceted as her mind was seemed justifiable in his eyes.

There were no gods in this world, only the flesh that kept the darkness alive.

He let out an incredibly low croon, the snarl so low that it could only be felt, not heard. "What you have to do.." he said with a smirk. "Is give yourself to me. Gods only ever reward those who believe."

He whispered low and malevolently.

"Those who don't believe...die."

She watched his eyes go wide, was she not supposed to nibble or bite? Wouldn't Mrost like it? Seemed like he would like such a thing, he liked her struggling, but this contact, this warmth was beginning to be too much. She shined and tried to push herself up but couldn't, more body contact and her back hit the earth again. She whimpered, with frsutration and delight.

OHka listened to him, tilted her head once with innocent confusion, teh back of her mind knwing all too well what this god wanted. Give herself to him? How could she do that? "What do I do Mrost?" her voice was soft, showing that she was oblivious to such a thing that he might be suggesting. Showing she did have an unbroken part of her being laying amongst the broken glass of the mirror of herself.

Die? She didn't want to do, others dying, well, that was alright it seemed, she didn't know what things were right and what things were wrong. Some seemed natural to her, too natural for someone like her. She had been twisted into something she should've never been, ah well, Mrost seemed to like it.

"Ohka does not wish to die, what does Ohka have to do Mrost?"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 24, 2006 6:47 pm

Innocence. It made him pleased in a most twisted way. She had no idea of what he asked, what he intended. It took him all his control to suppress the urge to laugh aloud. He was in control, absolute. Rorrim had challenged his authority but no other would dare he told himself. His. She was his. Belonged to him.

He nibbled on one of her ears with a smirk, the gentleness jarring compared to what he was usually like.

"You don't wish to die?" he said with a laugh.

"Well then. All you have to do...is hold still."

Her silver eyes lay fixated on his, she was still shaking a bit, not from being cold or afraid, but because of hos warm he was, though it was a bit awkward, him on her, but maybe this would help? Her being like this? Then she could give something to Mrost that would make him bring food and not leave her alone just yet.

"Anything for Mrost..." she closed her eyes and wriggled again, whimpered in her throat as he nibbled on one of her ears. So different, butterflies in her stomach, she had never felt this before, never known this before. Would he show her how to give what he required so she may not die, so that he may stay and she can stay with him?

Not be alone anymore, that would be nice.

With his last sentence, she shivered from hearing his voice low like that, hold still? She wriggled and settled her back against teh earth beneath them, she would, then perhaps she would no longer be alone.
