I know this is old, but will DoD ship the older dolls with the new boys body that just came out, or would you have to buy the new body and the head separately?

seeing as when they released the guardian bodies they only came with those select four dolls this most likely is the same. You would probably need to order the head and body seperately, but you can always email DoD and ask too.

1. Any problems that were encountered with your DOD in terms of shipping/quality of resin/posing/etc, if there were any: The only problem we encountered was that if you're a first time customer with them they will ask for a picture/fax of your credit card and ID. This threw us off at first because of course its dangerous stuff to just randomly send your information like that over seas. But I spent time researching it and everything with them checked out. They're a decent company and will not use your information abusively. After that was taken care of our boys were sent to us ASAP.
Other then that nothing was wrong. My Kirill is a beautiful doll and I'm very very satsified with him. My sister's Ducan's one shirt doesnt exactly fit him correctly and some of the measurements were off on his clothes but nothing a seamripper and a bit of creativity couldnt fix. Body wise they are beautiful dolls and very well put together.

Anzety I have to agree that DOD dolls don't look anything like they do on the website. I had a Too & Bee-A and my main problem with them is that they just looked so porcelain doll like. Their faceups are very pink and unattractive, though I have seen some DOD with custom faceups that I haven't hated. Their bodies are stiff and very solid, their knees lock well, they pose fairly well, and their hands are wonderful, but their faces have a very DOLL-like quality to them that I just can't appreciate. The pictures on the website make them look much nicer than they do in person. My advice? Find someone in your area that has one and see it in person before you purchase. They really just aren't for everyone. A good way to avoid them looking so "Pink" is probably to order a different face-up. The Brown face up tends to be very soft and natural. Here's a site where you can look at different dolls and their face-ups: http://www.pasiphae.net/dodmrp/index.htm

I've had my DoD Elf I-ra for a little over a month and have been very pleased with her. She's the one in my sig.
1. Any problems that were encountered with your DOD in terms of shipping/quality of resin/posing/etc, if there were any. I didn't buy her directly from DOD, I bought her off ebay. I received her very quickly, she came everything. She poses great.
2. If there were any problems what you did to fix it I haven't had any major problems with her. She a slight bump on the tip of her right ear, but with a wig on it's not too noticeable. The tip of her nose looks kinda funny compaired to the rest of her faceup, but that might've been due to the fact I have touched her nose.
She looked just like she does on the site. A bit paler since she's the white version through. Her faceup is very beautiful. There's alot of detail in the knees, back, and such. Overall I'm very impressed with DOD.

Ichigo_Kitten I know this is old, but will DoD ship the older dolls with the new boys body that just came out, or would you have to buy the new body and the head separately? Not sure if you got an answer to this or not yet... xp You will NOT have to buy the body and head seperately. If you're ordering straight offline from the DOD website it should give you an option as to what body you want. (I know it does with the new girls body) The newer body might cost you a little more though thats all.

In response to the picture dillema:
I found that doing a name search on deviant art is a good way to find owner pictures of all different sorts of angles. I just ordered an E-an from DOD but began having my doubts if the doll I see is really as pretty as the pictures. She looked different in amateur pictures, but even then they couldn't hide her beauty.
I was so happy and relieved.

Does anyone know the real measurements for the DOT girls? I can't help but to notice, the ones on the site are bizarre. They have the thinnest part of the chest (but not the thickest), no waist circumference, two different waist-to-knee lengths, one of which is longer than the full leg measurement by eight centimetres, et cetera, et cetera.
Speaking as a seamstress, they confuse the heck out of me. Does anyone have the real ones?
