Got another C on my recent test.
I love this class I'm taking, it's so easy , and it's a good chance for me to improve my standing.
Yay easy classes!

diav Yep. Ah, yeah, typical.. usually people from HK would go to California or Vancouver. Not really Toronto, where I live. (Well, not anymore, I guess). I'm assuming most of them speak both because China really warped up the language system in HK when HK was no longer under British rule back in '97. Went from yay!English + Cantonese to English + Mandarin then Mandarin + Cantonese or something like that. I just know they really screwed with the kids and the language-learning system. -.- So most of my uni friends from HK know both. @.@ Ke yi! *nods* Except, I find it funky how some of your pinyin words are mushed together when I usually put a space between them. LOL I dunno if the space matters though, but it's all in how you say it, haha. I think jong guo should be zhong guo, if I recall correctly. *is too lazy to look up the actual pinyin on her compy* Ooh, kong fu. Wow, ni zuo hen duo 'extracurricular activities' ma? Yin wei wo xian zai shang da xue, wo mei you shi jian zuo zhe ge activities. -__-;; (Oh man, I usually don't type in pin yin, I write out the Chinese characters on MSN... my writing's pretty bad. x3) Just another curiosity thing, can you read Chinese characters? xD;; 我喜歡寫中文字上我的電腦. (I like to write/type Chinese characters on my computer.) Aha, so true, but stupidity is worse in King Lear, isn't it? o.o *sky comes crashing down again.. this time on diav* x___X I have a friend from HK who knows both. They must be teaching both in the schools. And English. Darn tri-linguals, making Americans look bad. xd Yeah, I'm sure I mushed a few of them together. And yes, it should be zhong guo, my bad. I don't write or read so much pinyin anymore, so it's getting worse. Wo hen xihuan da wushu. Wo xiang...wo da "some activities" (duibuqi, wo bu ji dao zenme shuo zhe ge...). Bu shi hen duo, ke shi ye bu shi xiao duo. Wo ke nung bi ni you shi jian zuo zhe ge activities. Wo ke yi du rongyi de han zi. Wo xian zai zai wo baba de dian nao, danshi wo bu ke yi kan ni de zhongwen han zi. Wo zai wo de dian nao de shi hou, wo ke yi du tamen. (WOW, that was good practice. Hopefully, you'll be able to understand me. o_O) I don't know the stupidity levels in Shakespeare. I was never much of a fan of his works; we just got through them. sweatdrop xd *watches dav-dav get crushed* Hm.

Yeah, I guess the international schools go nuts with the three languages. @.@ Ahaha, I understood it. Though at the moment I've got a headache from too much programming. Bahahaha. -___-"" Last time I read pinyin... was the last post you made? xp I'll post in pinyin later.. maybe when I can think straight and am not delirious... I find Shakespearean English funkyyyyy. biggrin *squashed* x_X 4laugh

I wish American schools went crazy with the languages. Who knows? I could've been fluent in like...Swahili by now. Or something.
Wo hen gaoxing. =) Wo xian zai zai wo de dian nao. Wo ke yi kan ni de zhong wen han zi!
Yeah...not my fave at all.

Haha, that'd be cool!
Yay! Ni kan dao laaaaaa!! <---- la is so overused in Cantonese. xD I think in Mandarin it's 'ne' or 'zhe ge' or some other thing involving 'ge'. mrgreen
T.T I miss English class. All I do these days is compute numbers. I be a mindless human calculator!

Although they would probably pick a "useful" language so it'd be like...Mandarin or Spanish. Nothing so interesting as Swahili. Hm...yeah, Cantonese-speaking people...they say "la" and "a" all the time! Like, wo hen lei-aaaaa...but translated into Cantonese. sweatdrop You could always take a summer English class just for the fun of it! rofl As if you don't work hard enough already.... *uses some Goo Gone* Have you ever used that stuff? It's amazing!
