Is it just me or is it so much easier to gain gold on gaia now. I mean, I just got 32 gold from a single sentence post! I mean I'm not complaining I'm just asking if it has been like this for everyone, or is it just me?

it's really random... i got 32 gold for sending a PM yesterday, but many times today i've posted in the guilds and have only gotten 1 gold per post. grrr

Ok, I've been analizing this extensively and I think I understand it.
See, Gaia keeps track of where you post, and if you keep posting in the same forum area, you dont earn as much. If you post in a new forum, you suddenly get a ton of gold and it usually halves for the second post, then slowly drains down to 1-3 gold.
PMs count as a different "forum". So do voting for the best character thing (whatever its called where you rate people's avi's from 1 to 10). Leaving comments on their avi also counts as a "forum".
So, basically, if you really want to get money, spread your "interests" throughout the entire site.
Or just post "lol" in a bunch of places and hope Gaia doesn't notice smile

yeah, that's really annoying though. I think it is to keep people from becoming "regulars" in a single forum, but they really shouldn't penalize you for wanting to stick to certain areas more than others.

Bogus_Burger yeah, that's really annoying though. I think it is to keep people from becoming "regulars" in a single forum, but they really shouldn't penalize you for wanting to stick to certain areas more than others. Its not so much a penalty rather than a reward for those who do. I don't agree with it either -_- ...

it isn't always 3 gold per poll. sometimes you just have to spread the love over more of gaia to get mroe gold. i've gotten over 10g per poll before on occasion.
