I was playing with 7 boys and I was the first one to lose all my chips! Oh no! Luckily it was only a $7 buy in.
Are you fans of poker? What kind is your favorite? I also like Let It Ride, but I only play that in Atlantic City.
Discuss.

They should make a Texas Hold 'em or some kind of poker game to play here on Gaia... What do you all think of that?

Texas Hold 'em is easy. Basically, you're dealt 2 cards and 5 are flipped as community cards. Everyone uses the 5 in the middle plus the 2 they were dealt to make the best possible 5 card hand. It isn't difficult to play!

Texas hold'em isn't too bad. I dunno, I never enjoyed poker as much as everyone else seems to. I can't explain it. I see the tactics in it, yet at the same time I brush it all off as mostly luck. I guess I just wish there was more skill in it.
Yet, at pure tactics games, I know I get the feeling that I wish it was more luck. I guess it depends on how comfortable I am with the system. If I know what I'm doing, I wish it was more tactical. If I don't, I wish it was more luck-based.

I'd like to learn how to play Omaha, methinks. And I'm going to need to learn how to play hold'em better. I was the first one out (even though that doesn't surprise me too much).
