So i wrought a poem in my journal and your probly allredy saying "EMO" but you dont know the roots of my poem so shut up...
Well these little girls commented it saying im a poser and how stupid the ant-emo guild is and how im a poser and an emo becuse of my poem..
Well if you can read my bad spelling hopfully you can see what its about and if you cant its about how my boyfriend gets mad fights with me and it escalates....
But anyway where the ******** did these girls come frome i think im being stalked o_0'' well yeah... i just wanted to get that off my chest and yeah...
You don't need to reply or whatever ill put a poll up and you can do that ^^

Poetry does not make a person Emo. In fact, poetry is my realease. I write poetry all the time, in hopes of one day making it as a famous poet ^^; It's a long shot, but at least I've got a few things put in small school magazines, and small magazines that are actually sold in drug stores, lmao.
Point is, if you write poetry, you're not Emo. Poetry.. EMO poetry, is more like scribbling "Pain makes me hurt. Rain falls because I feel sorrow." all over their notebooks.

I used to write poetry all the time - but I haven't had time recently.
Most of my poems are funny short ones, but I have tried quite emotional ones (not EMO, just true to myself - meaning not depressive), and they were quite good. I lost them (grrrr).

I write poetry all the time, though I prefer more "abstract" poetry unlike the crap they write. rofl

sad to say but alot of my poems are a little depressing. I discovered that i could write them when my b/f broke up with me so yah. They aren't emo though, cuz i dont whine in them at all. I got one published too in a contest. But i havent had an urge to write a really happy one

thats a perfect example of one of my biggest reasons for hateing emos, when they act like theyr sad and depressed for attention, they make people who really have problems look bad. I'll admit this strait up, when i got dumped by a girl that i loved, i was totally depressed and wanted to die, and a bunch of kids came up to me and called me emo, the difference from me and an emo is i beat the living sh*t out of them, and the other difference is, i got over it and am now in love with a girl who is worth loving in every way

I haven't written poetry since forever! Dx
The last poem I wrote was to say sorry when my best friend and I had a fight and I was just filled with all these crap emotions and poetry just helped me get that out. 3nodding
xD I think some of my poems probably sound kinda emo though since I'm usually sad when I write poetry and whatnot. KICK OFF YOUR STILETTOS.
AND FUCK ME IN THE BACKSEAT.
