What food related memories does halloween bring to mind?
Do you have any special Halloween recipes?
Make carmel apples?
Did any of you bob for apples?
Did any of you get blindfolded and have your fingers stuck in spagehetti noddles and get told it was witches brains?

I love Halloween
For parties, I usually get asked to bring Slime (punch)
Real simple recipe
1 package unsweetened Lime Kool-ade (wish they still had Kiwi-Lime, it made a grosser (is that a word) color)
1 bottle (2 liter) 7-up or Sprite
1 carton Lime sherbet, softened
Mix Kool-ade and 7-up until kool-ade is dissolved, then stir in the softened sherbet.
Looks really scummy and gross, but tastes so good

What food related memories does halloween bring to mind? I think of those cheap cookies with that thick frosting that is orange with some more frosting on top that is green and black to make it look like a Jack-O-Lantern.

Help get in the spirit of the holiday. well.... there was this one time at band camp..... !! Welp . . . Around Halloween we used to go out to this farm in the country, and the guy had zillions of pumpkins for sale. Pumpkins of all sizes. Small ones, big ones, tiny ones that a baby can carry around, and ones so big four grown men had to carry them. x_O There were cows that seemed like giants, huge black monsters lurking in the pasture. . . .He also had turkeys in a pen that you could feed pumpkin seeds to. Those were the only live turkeys I've ever seen and they were so pretty - they're like the American Peacocks. Now that farm is squished in with these housing plats, and is surrounded by snobby suburbanites who made him get rid of the turkeys and cows. sad neutral cry

What kind of ignorant little twit would want to get rid of something essential to a holiday!? It's like asking your neighbor to tear down his christmas decorations, stealing the firewors from town square at the fourth of july, and roasting the easter bunny rabbit! (I could have said crucifing Yeshua all over again but....despite it being a kind of christian holiday, the bunny is known better.)
