LOLZ... I was partially right. Minato (hahaha, girl name that means beautiful) was naruto's dad and his mom WAS some randome girl.

I do wonder how Minato met Naruto's mum... that's what's bothering me. Weren't all the ninja fighting? They said she was from the former "Whirlpool Country", but what does that mean?
But yeah. I don't find it too surprising.

I love how Uzumaki Kushina is described, though. It sounds like someone who really would be Naruto's mom. I wish someone would write a Kushina/Naruto parent fic.
As for "former" Whirlpool Country... it probably fell during the war, or was swallowed up by a bigger country. Perhaps the Leaf... seeing as the hitai-ate of the Leaf is a swirl? I don't know... but that's my theory as to why the Whirlpool Country seems to have disappeared. But it might have been allies with the Leaf... maybe that's how Kushina and Minato met.

Minato as 'popular, a prodigy' and Kushi-chan as 'tomboyish but grows up to be beautiful' and then putting them together... It just sounds so cute :'DDDD IMMA MINAKUSHI FAN.

@Nazo: OMG, what a tempting offer. I think I'll work on one when I'm not so busy anymore. Probably afer I've released a chapter of my priority fic.
I'll have to satisfy myself with drawing some MinaKushi fanart, then.
I wonder if there's such a word in Japanese... MinaKushi, that is.
