have you ever had your parents say that anime childish or you should stop watching it? well give some examples that anime is not childish. what would be your argument to let you contiune watching them.

My dad said that anime had too much cussing....maybe it is just the anime I watch.....

I watch Elfen Lied.
That is in no way childish.
Naked ladies, people being ripped limb from limb, incest, just to name a bit.
I don't think a kid should watch that.
But for a mature person who enjoys that kind of thing.
I recommend it.

zenjimin i know what you mean but every body must have had this experiance is some way shape or form. I have never had that problem. Everyone figures theres far worse things they need to worry about with me than what I enjoy watching. Like the fact that I have knives and a homemade throwing star to name a few things. The only thing my mom worrys about with me is my voilent videogames as far as the media goes. And my supposed intrest in the "accult". Theres a laugh.

alot of cussing. lol and
sexual relatedness.

Gravitation, Descendants of Darkness, and a manga called Sensual Phrase. I dont watch much anime anymore, sadly. So mostly i just read Mangas. Sometimes Mangas are the best and sometimes animes are better. I guess its really depends on how much the artist put in them. But mainly i like mangas better since their cheaper than the Anime DVDs.

V's mom watches anime... but she is childish.So does V's kitty Altivo though, and he's a manly man. V enjoys a good anime every now and then also.
