That system seems like a system me and a couple of my friends used to do a while ago, it really helped each other look for cards that the other person needed and it worked out pretty well for all of us. The only thing about it sometimes was when one person would get a really good/powerful/rare card and another person needed it, and the card would end up being traded to strangers or greedily kept by the person who obtained the card first.
But nonetheless, this system helped us into making different card strategies and thinking of different deck types to use. These decks are really fun now that we all play the advanced format; all of our decks contain different cards which works out for our deck themes and new strategies are used which helps challenge oneself in how to defeat it
3nodding .
Yup, Thats exactally how it worked with the system that I used aswell
Now that none of my friends play though, Its hard to think up new deck ideas
sweatdrop That sucks, its beginning to find friends of mine these days that will play too. I know that we all are working and everything, but when we are on our days off...they just seem to do other things. And when they want to duel, i'm either too busy or i'm not in the mood (<--when i go through ten rounds of duels and when the match becomes obvious).
So my alternatives are going to local tournaments at the malls I live by. I remember nowadays not to carry all of my rarest cards with me though when I got to them, because the last time I did that, I've gotten these cards stolen from me:
-Ring of Destruction (Secret Rare)
-Imperial Order (Secret Rare)
-Red-Eyes Black Dragon (BPT Secret Rare)
-Mirror Force (Ultra Rare, but luckily i've gotten it back from the guy who tried to steal it from me.
stare Damn Rare Hunter)
-Raigeki (Super Rare. I had four of them, now I have three.)
