The D.E.W. is an adventure/romance/whatever you can think of RP. Nestled in the crater of an extinct volcano, the Weyr is a secluded place for those RPers who like to get away from the mundane, hectic and utterly illiterate worlds known as the Barton Town Forums. We're just now opening, so be sure to ask plenty of questions if you have them!

News Flash 5
Joy one day, and sorrow the next! The Weyrleader is dead of a heart attack, which leaves the Weyr leaderless, lost, and confused. It is now up to the two queens to choose the next Weyrleader -which ever rises to mate first, the rider of the bronze who catches her will take charge of the D.E.W. Will it be one of older, more cunning bronze? Or will a bronze hatchling from the last clutch outwit his superiors? Stay tuned for more!

It seems as if there is strife bewteen the bronze riders, all of whom want leadership of the Weyr. Normally, the first rider who's bronze flies the senior queen would get the position, but due to some twist of fate, two gold dragons were born.
Which will be senior? How will the two new queen riders decide? What will happen to the Weyr? Tune in next time!

jlynn518 has returned, battered, sore and weary, from many days of six hour training sessions learning to spin a rifle (for anyone wishing to learn more, look up "color guard" or "Winter Guard Association of Southern California" -W.G.A.S.C.). I will be sending out PMs to everyone who is considered a member, as well as dragging new people in.

News Flash 8 Josie has been busy lately and so Mekryd has promoted me to co-leader of the D.E.W. Let's get this roleplay up and going again! Everyone come on over to Dragon's Eye Weyr and join in! If you have a character idea, PM it to me to get it approved. We'll have another Hatching once the gold queens are mature enough! 3nodding

News Flash 9 Lots of stuff has been going on in the Weyr since the last update!
I've revamped all of the threads, adding and changing existing information, correcting errors, etc. Go check it out! I worked really hard on everything!
I've changed how the Hatchings work. First, we need 3 people who wish to go to a Hatching and receive their dragon. Then, I create a separate thread (complete with a NPC queen and a story for how the clutch appeared, etc.). Then the 3 people (and me, as NPCs) roleplay the Hatching 'til it's over. Then they join the regular RP again.
As for the storyline...
Currently, brown rider Bron is giving the new hatchlings and their riders some lessons in dragon maintenance. 3nodding
I need more members to join, though! So far it's me, Scarletdarkmoon, and [The Triquetra]. C'mon, Refugers! Please join the Weyr-- it's tons of fun, don't be shy! Just send me an application to join! ^^

News Flash 10 I will post what I posted in the D.E.W. RP'ing thread:
IMPORTANT: Everyone, I am going back to school on Monday, and I wanted to let you know that I will be unable to roleplay while I'm in school. I go to a boarding school, which makes it incredibly difficult to find time to come online.
However, even though I will not actively be participating in the rp, I will still have time on weekends to maintain the upkeep of this rp. I will still be taking applications and updating the threads. I may even post in character updates to how my character is doing. For now, I'm going to just say that Terrance and Evith went on a business trip to another Weyr-- they needed to visit the other Weyrleaders to make formal introductions. You'll hear from them from time to time.
Please, don't feel like this means that D.E.W. will go inactive. If you want to keep the rp going, by all means... keep rp'ing! Make up cool plotlines, etc. This world is yours!
I'm sorry to do this to you guys. I hate taking on a responsibility and then having to lay it down again. But I wanted to do this, to get D.E.W. up and in shape before I left to school. The threads are all redone, and there is an advertisement on Refuge's thread in the guild forum. If more people become interested in this, then more will come to rp and it won't go inactive.
Please keep D.E.W. going. It has a lot of promise. Thank you.
