In this thread we will post any freestyle videos (links, of course) that we have come across.

For those of you who don't know what freestyle is, it's the dancey part of dance dance revolution where you actually show that you have some kind of flow and don't just stomp on tiles when you go out clubbing.

Anyway, I'll begin with one video and will post a FAQ teaching some of the folks unfamiliar with FS (freestyle) what it's all about.

Here's the freestyle video, taken April 23, 2006 in Rocky Mount, NC at Rocky Mount 6. Participants are Discoman (myself), TheWertle (I think just Wertle on Gaia), and Zinka (zinka on Gaia). Anyone who is familiar with MOVE-OVA-4-SUPANOVA should recognize that the person that is taking this video is none other than Tyger himself.

My sister's boyfriend does some pretty rockin' freestyle.

last tuesday, i practiced some kneedrops on BEND YOUR MIND, medium
were trying to revive the freestyle... others who see it find it more fun to watch.

a friend of mine made a funny stepchart for NO PRINCESS, where one has to use his/her hands more often...
and if one knows the proper steps, one can even use a butt-plant

I have to say, I do a pretty awesome rave dance to "somewhere over the rainbow" light mode. razz
