Well as a recap We had a fad of "appreciation threads" where people would title a thread in appreciation to something. It usually contained youtube videos of said thing to appreciate. Often discussion was only in youtube videos. Next came the "For" thread, where a thread would be aimed at particular members of TLS i.e. "For Wingo and all others who oppose me" (By Bogus Burger (also known as BB (woo!! Tripple brackets))) Now I have started a new fad of reviving old threads.

Wow. Seems interesting enough. But so far I have seen at least one of those "trends" Here so far. Haha.

I kinda knocked them onto the next page of the forum by bringing up all the old threads, have a look at page 2 and you'll see 'em

I have to say, I'm glad we've been reviving some of the old threads. Still, new threads are always welcome! Don't be afraid of posting!

It's like pulling out a favourite book you haven't read for a long time.

I like this fad. It's been good fun so far, and it's nice seeing some of the threads from "the good old days" making a reappearance. I have to say, though, that when the TLS Story was bumped down the second page, I had a brief *Sadface* moment!

He tends to do that. I think you've both got interesting and creative ideas for the story, so I'm glad you're both continuing it!

The trick now is to try to avoid an Animorphs clone... I was thinking the morphing ability may come from a secret government test which he escaped from

Possibly. But that edges towards writing a dystopia, and I really don't feel like writing one of those right now! (Of course, if you can talk fast enough to convince me, go for it. ^.^)

Well we could avoid the full dystopia by writing about the escape from a dystopia to a utopia. Leaving the old world behind, hiding, starting a new life. Could cover the struggle to leave the old world behind (i.e. being tracked, trying to be captured and taken back)

Ah, but generally the utopia turns out to be a distopia of another sort, where appearances are rosy and everyone is happy but theres no meaning to anything (think farienheit 451).

That's true. Generally, I prefer to write neither.
Still, it's not all up to me anyway, and I think everyone's doing a good job of the writing so far. (And really, this was all Mooby's idea, so if this story "belongs" to anyone, it's him. ^.^)
