Well, I've finally decided to do some avatar art, though for free/whatever he feels like paying me, I just want it to turn out good. So I was wondering if you had any suggestions for what I've completed so far. O.o I plan to make the pants thigh match the pant leg in value, annd, the unshaded shoulder needs to be a little smaller, and point face backwards a bit more, since it's turned away, but yeah, other than that, please be brutal.

So far..

Note: I just keep overwriting the image to keep the person updated on it's status, so it may change.

Wow, lovely shading so far. So much detail. whee

Nothing (that needs fixing) really sticks out to me... humm... Do you know where you're going to place his right (our left) hand yet? Having a good hand there will be a vital asset to your picture, so once you get that done you could post an update for us to take a look at.

As of now, it looks great. 3nodding

Wow, nice stuff... the one thing that bothers me are the bunny ears... other then that the piece looks amazing. I love how you did the clothes as well as being able to fully utilize a B&W scheme. Pose looks nice as well ^^

*snickers* Thanks, and I added in a hand, which possibly seems a little large? O.o But yeah.. mainly just using black and white because I'm color deficient, so I've kind of adapted to the shading and what not. I can tell primary colors apart, but I can't really see the difference between shades of colors, (dark blue vs purple, some browns and reds, some bright greens and yellow, many more. razz )

//Edit: Changed the ears to be like the ones in the picture, somewhat, since I don't know what bunny ears look like. razz

//Edit #2: I'm taking the skull thing down a tad, and having it fit more closely to the head, I need to take it down on the left side still, and what not. Do the eyes seem in the right place and what not?

I liked how the ears were before. T__T;

I think the fingers might need a bit more bend, considering it's the only hand supporting him. Since I couldn't find a good picture online somewhere, I decided to make one myself.

So, here's my hand for example.

The fingers have a bit of a curve inwards, and you can see the different angle of the hand itself, in comparison to the fingers.

I love the shading..... waaay better than me sweatdrop hmmmm the fingers are kinda feminine but that's all that seems 'out of place' everything else is wonderful

I tried out that position, and it's easier for me to support myself like the picture shown. O.o; But I'll probably change them around when I get to them. But to me, it looks like the shading around the chest makes it seem sort of,.. cylindric.. and just looks like it's more rounded than it should be. It also might just be me.

true, the pose you put is one I would prefer leaning on my palm then supported by my fingers.

And ya, now that you mention it...but it's hard to tell. Maybe you want to try and refrence a suit? My guess is that there is not enough shading in the under arm area... also I think for a suit, the shading should be more curvy then straight.

Best idea I guess is model yourself or another and recreate the suits way...recreate lighting, ect... then you'll definitly have a good refrence to draw from ^^

I never get to draw from reference. *mutters* But yeah, I've never worn a suit, nor paid any attention to them, so I'm just throwing it down. razz

That's awesome. I love the shading you have heart But the bunny ears seems alittle too short. Also the right ear (the bending one), if it was straight up like the left ear, then it would be taller, so maybe even it out? sweatdrop
