gyahgyah, vintage illustrations. @ B@ We got an ancient betty crocker book for kids that I used for reference. the girl in the green dress gave me the most trouble. e______e she needed to be chubby, but then I'd make her too fat and then the legs ~! ; B;

Good illustration, good job copping the style.

It's overall very cool but I'd think that her legs do not communicate chubby. I thought she just had a poofy dress.

Personally I'd have aligned the "koibito" a bit higher; it seems too close to the bottom edge.

haha, yea. i love this! i have a weakness for drawings with patterns on the clothes that stay the same even over wrinkles and folds.

anyway, yea. her legs don't look chubby. it's a tough look to pull off. something about dimpled knees.
