I do like Hot Topic, but its not one of my favorite stores. I mean, I only go in there to the clearance aisle where the clothing has reasonable prices. I may even get a CD in there because the prices are cheaper in there, unlike Sam Goody [where they sell CD's on the retail price, and I get the majority of my CDs there.]
To me, Hot Topic is like Abercrombie and Fitch for the emo's, goth's, etc.

meh. personally, i do buy band T-Shirts at hot topic. Ive only been to 2 concerts in my life, and the local arena is very, very expensive (i.e. like 50 bucks a shirt) so i support my bands by buying tshirts at stores (when on sale <3).
Second, i dont buy my music at hot topic, i may get band suggestions from there, but most of my music is either purevolume, itunes, or discount at a tower records or something. I do like some of the small bracelets etc. there, i like browsing, but i hardely EVER buy anything, i'm a clearance rack chick. <3
