Tsuna Miki

Tsuna was a little reinsured that Carmelia was wearing a spare scarf instead of a really expensive one she could have possibly damaged. Sagiso had confirmed how long it had been since the teammates last conjugated as he ran his hand through his coral hair. Kuroyuri agreed silently as they seemed to be somewhat informed on Team Sun's mission. Solomon had told her probably after their departure from the Christmas Ball. Lottie described a little of what they were up to without divulging to much much information. Carmelia found their encounters with the undead disgusting while the two males urgently prodded them for more details considering they were at their school. Carmelia hushed the two of them allowing Tsuna to speak which he teammates also looked to her for guidance. Tsuna took a minute to formulate the right words before answering carefully. "Although I can't reveal much to you, we came here to inquire the help of your Headmistress. Alexis Truesvale. She has some personal expertise that can aid us in our search. I know its a big request, and the lack of context is unsettling, but its imperative that we find her immediately. If any of you know where she is, please lead the way." She knew how unfriendly she sounded, and suspicion from them was bound to draw tension between the teams at some point. However, every second was against them and they needed to move using any means necessary. She just hoped Aoi's team could trust her as much as her own team does.

The path seemed to fade, my hope restored by you

"Grand Mage Truesvale..." Carmelia uttered quietly to herself. Aoi could be heard saying Alexis' name only too, as if she were on first name basis with the headmistress. Sagiso nodded, understanding their need for urgency without asking any further explanation. "We can take you to her, she's usually in her office." Kuroyuri nodded too, giving a sound of agreement. Their already brief moment together was cut short when another voice entered the mix from the corridor beyond Aoi's team, following by the sound of heels hitting the stone floor.

"No need" the woman's voice said. Micha'el spun. It was Alexis Truesvale herself. Lottie took her in with wide eyes. She was beautiful as always. She had blonde tresses hanging from each side of her head, whilst the rest was pulled back into a loose ponytail, tied between her shoulder blades. The rest flowed freely to her waist. Her bangs were uneven, falling majestically to help curve around her cheeks or end before they could cover her eyes. She was adorned by a royal blue cloak lined with gold stitching on the hems. It pulled up beneath blue shoulders which were pleated to effortlessly accentuate her frame. Beneath her throat the two were connected by a large blue crystal seated in gold, cut the shape of a diamond. The gold frame spilled downwards into her blue corset. Spilling down from her corset, at her hips, were two long blue side skirt panels, leaving the front and back open. These shun in the light and were also finished with gold on the edges. Her legs were bare but finished with shin-high brown leather boots, complete with high heel, that hugged her elegantly. Her arms were similarly bare, except for golden bangles that hung on both wrists. It all was made of light material, as to not weigh her down, but to also look authoritative and regal. Highlighting her as the Grand Mage of the Arcaz Sovereignty. The bare skin appears to be a personal touch, one that she couldn't shake from her early days.

"I'm glad to see that it is only you three." Alexis sighed, blinking slowly as she took in a breath. "But I must admit - I feel somewhat disappointed to find that Solomon is sending his students to my front door uninvited." She looked towards Aoi's team and gestured. "Please move along to your next class" Alexis spoke calmly, even showing an ounce of warmth as her eyes moved over Aoi. The team took the suggestion happily, saying goodbye to Team Sun, and suggesting they meet after the day has finished. Alexis then rested her gaze upon Team Sun. "Why are you here?"

~
Keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through - We'll make it through
Just stay strong...
'Cause you know I'm here for you - I'm here for you

Now I can feel the fire burning deep within me
I'll be the hero and no one can stop me

Tsuna Miki

Carmelia referring to Alexis as the Grand Mage, a title instead of her name, meant her students held her in high regards. Sagiso and Kuroyuri, however, were willing to cooperate without any further explanation until the sound of loud heel clips caught their attention. A authoritative, soothing voice introduced itself making Tsuna's stomach churn unexpectedly. She showed herself so easily, let them wonder into her domain unannounced, and caught them off guard. She was like a spider patiently waiting for its next meal to stupidly cross its threshold and get tangled in its web. Tsuna's ears flattened as she slowly pivoted to lay her eyes on the eternally youthful headmistress. Tresses of her blonde hair bounced around the sides of her face while her ponytail swayed in the back between her shoulder blades. Her uneven bangs framed her face perfectly highlighting her piercing blue eyes. A blue clock lined with gold stitching was held up beneath blue shoulder plates that exenterated her slender neck and collar. The metal pieces connected at her neck by a large blue crystal framed in gold. The gold extended downward into her corset stopping at the hips were two blue side skirt panels flapped openly. The fabric shimmered in the light and was also lined in gold trim tying the outfit together. Her legs were bare expect for a heeled leather boots that ended at her knees hugging her legs elegantly. Lastly, she wore two gold bangles composed of some light weight material displaying royalty as well as authority further proving her Grand Mage of the Arcaz Sovereignty status.

She was relieved to only see them and not Solomon whom she assumed sent them uninvited. Changing up her tone, almost sounding motherly, she sent Aoi and her team off to class so they could have a private chat. Once Aoi and her team departed making promises to meet up later she inquired why Team Sun was there. Tsuna had to stop herself from blurting everything out as she looked around cautiously to make sure they were alone. Exhaling deeply she looked the woman in her eyes holding herself firm. "You know why we're are here." She wasn't going to play this game of cat and mouse with her. She knew she saw her through the Prince's mirror and willing let them traverse the Merlin Academy grounds. "The cases of supposed Necromancy have lead us to deuce that Arcane is the culprit. The only mage that has that kind of power is you." Before she could speak, Tsuna stepped up close to her trying an intimidation tactic to really get her attention and to show they weren't screwing around. "You're looking quiet young for someone of your station...I guess hoping a few timelines and using Arcane can do wonders for the skin."

Micha'el looked at Tsuna in disbelief. He couldn't believe that she was actually about to take this approach. A weight hung over them all suddenly as Tsuna explained that necromancy brought them to her, only because they discovered that it was powered by arcane magic. And then, the nail in the coffin, was when Tsuna accused Alexis of being the only one powerful enough to wield that kind of magic. For a moment whatever friendliness Alexis showed was gone as disappointment and quiet resentment flickered over her face. Her lips tightened and eyes became harder. Her chin raised as she began to look down upon the students, putting up metaphorical wall between them. She watched silently as Tsuna approached. She intruded on Alexis' personal space and, if Alexis hadn't been killed off with the last accusation, this next one might just throw her soul into oblivion.

For a second she blinked, her lips curved in a way that it was difficult for Micha'el to read. Did she smile? Or was that a quivering of the lips? Was she angry? Sad? Whatever was going through Alexis' mind, it didn't show. Lottie felt the tension in the air and held her breath. Micha'el felt his heart beating through his chest and instinctually pinched his arm. Finally, Alexis spoke slowly and coldly. With a disdain that couldn't be measured. "I owe you nothing. But I will give you one courtesy - for showing me that even my closest friends cannot be trusted." Her voice was measured, almost languid, each word like ice sliding from her lips. "Go back to being children, it's not a luxury you will have for long. And if you wish to see a villain, then see one. It makes no difference to me. I am not what you claim… but I no longer care if the world chooses to believe it. I have lost more to this enemy than you can possibly comprehend. And still I stand, shouldering the burden none of you dare to carry. So do not mistake my youth for vanity, nor my silence for guilt." She then glanced over towards Micha'el, mentally realising something as she coldly added, "he might as well be behind all this. There is arcane power enough in him alone to raise the dead." She looked back at Tsuna. "To think I thought you three might be different. Do not waste my time again."

Tsuna Miki

After her accusations, Alexis's arrange of tense, cold expressions were barely readable. Tsuna had snuffed out any comradery they could have had, bringing out Alexis's darkness confessions. She didn't owe them an explanation and any faith in Nyru was gone now because of her. She warned them to not take their child innocence for granted and to see her as a villain if they wish. She admitted how much she had lost to this unknown enemy and yet she still stands carrying a weight on her shoulders that no one could bare. Tsuna had made a mistake of assuming her as the enemy just by appearance alone. She felt horrible, more like she was the villain, which maybe she was, but she couldn't stop over this confrontation. Alexis oddly pointed the blame at Micha'el saying he possessed Arcane within him to preform the same feats. Tsuna eyed him questionably for a second before turning back to Alexis whom thought they'd be different. She didn't appreciate her time wasted which Tsuna understood. She couldn't stop herself from biting back, but this time she reeled back on the insults and aggression. "You're wrong...about your friend. We found out way before he said anything and we...no I forced his hand. I'm the instigator and the villain...I kissed my childhood goodbye long ago so I can't hang on to something that never was. I don't want to see you as a villain Al- I mean Headmistress Truesvale. I shouldn't have accused you like that...I'm just scared of losing someone important, but my actions don't make me right." She paused now looking ashamed knowing she shouldn't have provoked her from the start.

"Help us understand this enemy. Help us understand Arcane. Please, help us understand you. Then you won't have to be alone. We won't...I won't bother you again after this. I'm sorry...sincerely." Tsuna even bowed humbly not expecting an ounce of leniency after what she had just done. She didn't expect a sudden budding friendship or an understanding interaction, but she hoped enough for a answer despite her not deserving one. She hated herself for being so forward all the time, it was the only was she knew how to gather information. She needed to learn to be more compassionate and personable like her friends. This is probably why they actually had friends way beyond her, and she was just luckily enough to even be considered theirs.

Alexis tensed. She was ready to shut Tsuna down once more until she explained that she was wrong about her friend. Thoughts played out silently behind her eyes, creating more tension in the air. But at least she was listening to what Tsuna had to say. The effort Tsuna made when addressing her also made her angry gaze soften slightly. Tsuna explained that she wasn't always right, and Alexis responded with a soft, yet distant "no. It does not." Tsuna went on to ask for help to understand the enemy, to understand the arcane and to ultimately understand her. The thoughtful gesture caused Alexis' lips to part, the only indication that her mind might be changing.

Micha'el watched in surprise as Tsuna made a complete U-turn. He felt proud of her for handling this so maturely, and so quickly learning from her mistakes. He looked to Alexis, who was quietly contemplating her answer. He looked at Lottie, then gestured they follow suit. Together all three of them bowed to Alexis Truesvale. Her cold hard expression slipped them - revealing some slither of hope, of relief. Understanding.

Alexis remained silently, even as the three of them slowly raised their heads. Her jaw clenched and her sapphire eyes looked between them. She was dead still. Except for her hand which lifted and clenched softly, conjuring an arcane blue light in her palm that shun. Fine lines of blue magic escaped between her fingers, circling and creating patterns and tiny runes before vanishing into the air. Micha'el tensed as she gestured with her hand and released the blue light. He expected to be blasted away, to be transformed into a sheep or worse. But instead the light circled around them and in a flash the walls of the corridor vanished and revealed a new room. Alexis was already turning on her heel, stepping into the new room before it had even appeared.

The room was large and square and two storeys high. It was made of white stone and a purple stained glass dome above. Ahead of them, where Alexis now moved, was a large wooden desk with an upholstered blue seat. Behind her was four tall stained glass windows, with ornate carved columns between them. To the left of them was a curved staircase leading up into a balcony that overlooked the room, furniture could be seen as well as bookshelves and a floating sphere of blue magic. To the right was an opening in the wall, where a staircase of stone led up to another room which could be seen from here. It was circular with a lavish amount of magic swirling around. Plants of green, blue and purple hung around that space, and it looked to have many windows that were clear. It looked like a space that Alexis might use personally. Looking down, the floor shimmered, turning translucent once the eyes focused, revealing the academy atrium beneath them. The office was located directly atop Merlin's Tower, which was situated in the atrium as a centre-piece. All the students could be seen going about their day. It made Lottie's knees go weak, so she hopped back, then forwards again to avoid gazing through. Alexis took her seat. There was no other chairs for Team Sun. "Step away from the circular mosaic" she said, gesturing for them to come closer. Lottie took the command quickly, noticing that the floor outside of the circle was not enchanted. She sighed in relief. "I will give you all one chance. But you must promise to trust me... and I will promise to trust you. You have obviously done a lot to come to the same conclusion as me..." she rolled her eyes, "even if you really thought I was the culprit. Now if you really want to understand, I must ask for the truth from you - and I will reciprocate. Firstly, did Solomon send you? Because if he did I will send you back immediately. Secondly, how did you discover that the source of the undead is arcane? Finally - why should I put any effort into assisting you with your problems? I know that your investigation must have stemmed from Ivan's ailment. Maverly refuses to return until his condition improves. She also told me that three students were missing - including his adopted daughter. And after all - you are only students. I already have an academy filled with them, and an entire city... and guild to assist me.

Tsuna Miki

Tsuna's thoughtful words and her teammates faithful reactions, they seemed to change Alexis's mind as she contemplated her previous emotions. They all raised their heads slowly trying to read her clenched jaw and dead set state as her sapphire eyes looked between them. Bring her hand up, she conjured a small ball of Arcane that swirled around her fingers creating tiny patterns and runes that vanished wistfully. Micha'el's reaction to the magic was intense, while she could only assumed that Alexis would either transport them away from the school and erase their memories of this encounter. Honestly, the options were limitless but instead the blue light circled around them teleporting them to a new room that began to take shape. Alexis knew the confines of this room well as she walked into the blank space before it had finished appearing.

The square room they found themselves in was large and spacious, also from could be seen to be two stories high. The exterior was white stone with a purple stained glass doomed ceiling. Where Alexis had walked off to was to a large wooden desk with an upholstered blue seat. Behind her were four stained glass windows with ornate columns in between them. To the left was a set of stairs that lead up to a balcony overlooking the room where bookshelves and floating blue spheres of magic could be seen. To the right, there was an opening in the wall with another staircase that lead to a magically, lavished circular room. Plants of green, blue, and purple resided on that floor with windows pouring in the daylight. This was Alexis's office and personal area that was centered right above the academy atrium on top of Merlin's Tower. The floor beneath them shimmered turning translucent revealing all the students and the academy's daily life down below. She didn't think the students could see them, but Lottie became uneasy hoping back and forth. Alexis suggested they step away from the circular mosaic and onto the floor that wasn't transparent. Lottie did so eagerly as Tsuna wondered away trying not to get to distracted from all of the enchantments. There were no chairs for Team Sun so they had to stand dignified before to prostrate their good will.

She decided to give them one chance to be truthful and she'll extend the same curtesy. All accusations side, she knew they weren't through a lot to get there and come to the same conclusions as her. Her first requested was to know if Solomon was behind their arrival and if so she wouldn't hesitate to send them away. Second, she wanted to know how they found out that the source of the undead was Arcane. Lastly, why should she assist them at all considering they're just students. She had her own students and connections in the city and guild, so what made them special? Ivan's illness prevented one of her best instructors from returning. Her position of adopted daughter didn't hold any merit and two other students missing from another academy was hardly her concern. Tsuna knew how to answer the first two, but the third she could find no words for. Who was Ivan to her anyway? A nuisances at best. Them? A problem? Maybe the opportunity to clear her name? Tsuna wasn't the only one that came to the conclusion that it could possibly be her, but there was nothing she had done wrong. Annoying, at best and draining at worst. Its the right thing to do? Armature and destitute. Similarly because she knew how to use Arcane? Negative.

Tsuna had been quiet biting her lip for too long before she stepped up and started to lay out her answers. She placed a hand in her pocket holding Ivan's cigarette pack hoping it'll provide her strength and comfort. "For your first question, no, Solomon did not send us, only permitted us to leave the school. There was a time he was in contact with us, but we hadn't felt his interference in some time." She glanced down at her marked hand wondering if the Prince was lingering around listening in. "For your second question, how we discovered the source was arcane, a hint was provided to us. Not to alarm you, but I wasn't the only one thinking these crimes were linked to you. All the symptoms are disguised as Necromancy, but the glowing blue in the eyes is a giveaway. After Claudia had fallen ill, I had a discussion with Queen Declasia's advisor and Nyru. After some ductions, I found out that it is arcane speeding up the process of decomposition on organic beings. The arcane started out on animals, first birds which infected Ivan, moving onto harrowsteed which infected Claudia. However, if there are any movements beyond that or more infected were are unaware." Tsuna paused thinking of her last answer finally realizing that everything could end here regardless of what she says. Alexis was right, she had no reason or benefit to help them and getting on her knees and begging wasn't going to make a different. Closing her eyes and exhaling deeply, she removed her hand from her pocket and looked at Alexis lost and a defeated. "There's nothing I can say to make you help us, no definitive answer that I could give anyway. Anything I say will be self-serving, threating, and probably demeaning to you. Wanting to help us is a choice you'll have to make and we'll have to accept regardless." Tsuna struggled to hold back tears knowing she could have just blown their chances, wasted everyone times and energy, and have sent Claudia and Ivan to their graves.

Alexis was interested enough in what Tsuna had to say. Her eyes watched closely, staring inquisitively to make sure she didn't miss any mannerisms or slight gestures. If Tsuna was hiding the truth, she would know it. What she had to say about Solomon wasn't surprising, but the fact he was no longer watching over them was also surprising. She took a moment to sense any magic on Tsuna, and for a second her eyes might have become a brighter shade of blue. There was nothing attached to her, nothing that she could sense. Not even with the crystal beneath her throat, a magical conduit of power that connects her to a much greater source of arcane energy elsewhere. As for the second answer, Alexis was intrigued to find out. Not even she had deduced that the necromancy was being cast using arcane magic. It could easily be done, she imagined, to create widespread disease, but to control the dead... it would require an immense amount of power. Of course they would suspect her. And then Tsuna mentioned the Queen Declasia. Alexis did her best to hide her expression, but the resentment was obvious as her expression faded. The mention of Nyru further cemented what she realised earlier. He had betrayed her secret to them. Her tragedy, her curse. "That is unfortunately" she said, commenting after Tsuna revealed Claudia fell sick with the deathly ailment. And finally came her third and final answer, one that was entirely genuine. She saw the tears pooling under the girl's eyes and couldn't help but recall her own fear. Once, long ago, there was a little girl. Her name was Alexis Truesvale, and she lost her father forever. And then.... long after, she was given the chance to get him back.

That was how the story of Alexis Truesvale ended. And this is the story of how Alexis Truesvale will continue forever.

Tsuna was suffering. She was afraid of losing someone she loved. Alexis would be a hypocrite to refuse helping her. And Micha'el..." Alexis moved her eyes to peer over at him. He was standing sheepishly, pinching his arm, avoiding her eye contact immediately. He was interesting. He didn't show such arcane potential at Hope Academy. Something had happened. Perhaps... She shook her head and spoke. "Sit" she gestured, showing them that ornate wooden chairs with royal blue upholstery were suddenly beneath them. "We have much to discuss... and much to do if we want to defeat our common enemy. Then perhaps we can save Ivan. I must ask however - what exactly did you plan on doing after exposing me as the culprit?" There was a shimmer of interest in her eyes, "there wouldn't be a party, I assure you. The majority of the Guildeam believes me crazy or a loose-canon already. In fact they might not care at all - they largely ignore me altogether. They even ignore my call for aid against the Scarred whom now carry out regular attacks on our eastern shores."

Tsuna Miki

Alexis was intensive the entire time and responded when she needed too. Tsuna didn't notice her scanning her for magical connections nor did she note his distain for Queen Declasia. When they were in the Land of Crows, Queen Declasia sounded impartial to Alexis as well and she was sure there was some kind of story there, but didn't want to delve into their personal drama. She did find Claudia's illness unfortunate which would further explain why Nyru had revealed so much to him due to the downfall of his partner. After Tsuna had relayed everything and allowed Alexis to mull things over before considering their quest, she was relieved. Still her glances at Micha'el were making her just as uncomfortable remembering what she had said about him earlier. Alexis asked them to sit on similar ornate royal blue upholstered chairs that appeared behind each of them. In her own words, she was correct. There was so much to talk about and finally unravel this investigation in order to save Ivan and anyone else that has fallen victim to the arcane. As they sat, she wondered how they'd end up exposing her which Tsuna didn't even know. Mostly, when she's confronted with anything she acted on instinct and let her actions or logic dictator her from there. According to her the Guildeam wouldn't miss her this they see her as insane and ignore her calls to aid against the Scarred on the eastern shores.

Kuroyuri commented about fighting some bad guys last week when they meet up with Aoi's team so that must have been the instance he was referring to. Tsuna shook her head and wiped away some stray tears as she looked at Alexis giving her enough attention while acknowledging her teammates. She grabbed both of their hands squeezing them gently as a "thank you" and "it's going to be okay". Lottie was always willing to listen, and she hoped Micha'el would calm down enough to stop hurting himself. "Honestly, they might as well say we're insane too. This case has nearly taken us half way around the world finding out information through unconventional methods. I won't lie to you, a cruel part of me wanted it to be you so I could end the search here and finally had all the answers. Now sitting here with you, I'm glad you're not the culprit. I don't want to fight you nor would I want to try. I just want to know what the motive for all of this and who or what is behind it."

Micha'el accepted Tsuna's kind embrace as he wrapped his arm around her to take Lottie's arm in his hand. He doesn't noticed, but the movement was instinctual. She then responded to Alexis' musing about how the rest of the world viewed her. "I see" Alexis said, blinking slowly. "Unfortauntely... I do not know the motive myself. Only that our enemy is strong, and definitely knows more than we do. I will say, I'm impressed to now realise you must have played a part in this..." Alexis gestured with her hand, and from another table came floating a pale daisy, simmering with arcane magic as Alexis commanded it to gently rest down upon the desk. "Maverly told me these came from the Land of Crows - Nyru specifically. And that they work to drastically slow the infection on Ivan." Alexis sighed quietly. "A shame to see his conscience only appears when it involves his best friend or beloved queen."

Alexis paused as a blue shimmering light appeared from the crystal resting on her chest. Then - a red dot - danced before her. Her eyes stared at it for a moment as she gleaned something from this that the others couldn't fathom. "Who is it?" she asked. Some blue arcane magic formed a straight horizontal line, and across it blue magic bounced like a soundwave, but there was nothing that Team Sun could hear. "How apt" she said, "no, let him believe he is unnoticed. I'll meet you at the Starwell." Alexis dismissed the magic with one small gesture of her hand. She eyed Team Sun and let out one more sigh, as if a weight had been taken off her shoulders. "I suppose you're wondering how I knew that you were here. I would like to show you something, its imperative that you know in order for us to work together. I'll explain once we are there. Anything else before we leave?"
"Uhm..." Micha'el interjected, raising his hand as if he was still in class. Alexis nodded to him, allowing him to speak. "You said I had... arcane magic within me? But - my magic is divine."
"Hmm. I do not know about divine magic, you would have to ask the Divine themselves. But I do sense a great amount of arcane magic in her - specifically that pendant of yours - which I assume is a transfigured conduit for your magic. A tome perhaps, if my eyes aren't mistaken? And - sorry" she shook her head as if to jog her memory, "forgive me. I do not recall your names. My visit to your academy was brief, and I had little time to commune with the students. I only know of Tsuna thanks to Maverly."
"Oh!" Lottie began, "I'm Lottie - uhm, Charlotte Tamiya-Sotaru"
"Your Lily's sister?" Alexis asked, revealing what remained of her childhood innocence as her eyes seemed to relax and turn younger for a moment. "I used to enjoy her music very much." She now turned to Micha'el who looked sheepish as he said "Micha'el.... Maues."

And suddenly all softness in her eyes vanished once again as they turned cold and harsh at the edges. Her lips remained neutral, accept for her clenched jaw. Micha'el was aware that - if Nyru knew of the name - then Alexis of all people would too. She probably had more reason than anyone else here to hate that name. She finally let out her breath after what felt like an age, then looked over her shoulder towards a painting she had hung of an old man. Judging by comparison, it had to be her father.

She was wondering whether Team Sun remembered Zoltan. No - they shouldn't. She turned back to Micha'el and asked "do you remember?" They both paused. Micha'el pinched his arm again, fidgeting on the spot as he said "I- I don't... I only remember everyone else forgetting."
"I suppose Nyru filled you in on that too?" her tone was cold once more, like it was earlier. Micha'el nodded silently, avoiding eye contact. "Do you resent me for it?" she asked flatly. He shook his head, "no... he was not the brother I knew when... that happened. I hadn't seen him for a year... maybe... two years when he vanished. I should thank you - his non-existence cured my mother of depression and drugs." Then Alexis softly replied with "i'm sorry. I never considered that he would have a family". Her apology hung in the air, drawing him to finally look at her. "I'm sorry that we had to kill him. But given the same opportunity again - I would do it in a heartbeat. Which I hope will never happen - and should it - I'd know he was out there immediately - thanks to the Starwell."

I gotta recognize the weapon in my mind
They talk s**t, but I love it every time
And I realize

I've been polite, but won't be caught dead
'Cause kindness is weakness, or worse, you're complacent
I could play nice or I could be a bully
I'm tired and angry, but somebody should be

Tsuna Miki

Micha'el returned the sweet gesture as he wrapped an arm around her and Lottie. Alexis revealed she was as much in the dark as they were because she didn't explicitly identify this "enemy" with unknown motives. However, she found out that their part to play in slowing down the Arcane was instrumental as she magically summoned a Pale Daisy over to her desk. She reiterated what Maverly has relayed to her and had discovered Nyru had sent some to Ivan. She was clearly still cross with his poor decision skills, expect when it involves Claudia and the Queen causing Tsuna to bite her lip. Maybe she should have kept her mouth shut about Nyru, but everything would have been revealed eventually since they were in agreement to trust one another. Perhaps, she can smooth things over later for him considering it was her arrogant, pushiness that forced him to tell her secret.

For a moment, Alexis paused and stared into the distance before dismissing something with a slight hand gesture. Tsuna was a bit curious, but had already dove to deep into Alexis's personal affairs so she ignored strange interlude. She sighed allowing herself to look a little more relaxed as she stated how she knew of their arrival. She wanted to show them something important that will cement their alliance. She promised to explain once they get there, but before they departed she asked for lingering questions. Micha'el sheepishly raised his hand as if he was still in a classroom wanting to know how she sensed arcane within him despite his magic being divine. Alexis didn't know of divine magic specifically, he'd have to ask another source about that. However, the arcane magic was stemming from his tome that he had transfigured into a necklace for easier travel. She stopped herself realizing she didn't actually know Micha'el and Lottie's names due to her brief visit at Hope Academy. She was only notified of Tsuna through Maverly causing Tsuna to blush embarrassed wondering exactly what Maverly had said about her. Lottie piped up immediately introducing her nickname before saying her full birth name. Alexis mentioned her sister Lily and how she used to enjoy her music fondly. When Micha'el stammered his name, the soft childhood innocence glazing her eyes turned cold and tense. There was many reasons for her to distain the name Maues as her eyes peered at a painting of an older gentleman that had be her father.

Letting out a breath of uncertainty, she asked Micha'el if he remembered. Tsuna assumed she was referring to Micha'el's brother by the way Micha'el started to fidget inflicting self-harm once again. He replied simply that he knew everyone else had forgotten to which Nyru had filled them in on the details of Zoltan's timeline meddling. She wondered if Micha'el resented her for disposing of him and he stated he did not. Actually, he was relieved the man was gone since he was no longer the brother he knew and his disappeared had cured his mother of her depression and drug use. Alexis tried to be compassionate never considering Zoltan had family ties, but wouldn't hesitate to bring him down again giving the opportunity. Luckily, they were technically safe from all intruders here thanks to the Starwell giving her foresight on who enters her domain. So, that must be where they were heading remembering her commentary earlier on how she knew they were there. She was intrigued and remained quiet so the Mage could lead the way.
