Cedarfang stretched his stiff muscles. He was anxious to get out and train with a real warrior and not all the kittypets and apprentices. Once he felt that both of them were warmed and ready, Cedarfang nodded to Cindergaze before his lunged at her.
He landed on her with a thud and gently bit into her fluff with his teeth.

Leafbare had been hard on them all, meaning she hadn't taken the time to sharpen her fighting senses. She felt a bit ashamed of that, but nothing she could do about it now. She'd just have to give it her all. She took her time to limber up, allow her muscles to warm up especially during such a cold time. When she was ready she nodded pleasantly towards the tom, taking her stance. She laughed brightly at him as she rolled with his lunge, kicking her back feet to push him up, "Come now, you haven't gotten rusty on us have you, Cedarfang?" she purred lightly at him, before turning on him with a feint swipe and lunging.

He held his ground and braced for impact as Cindergaze lunged at him. The hit made his muscles ripple with tension under his fur but he did not buckle. " Do you really think I'd let that happen, Cindergaze?" Cedarfang asked playfully. " I'm just testing to make sure you haven't gone soft under all that fur." He tried to wrestle the fluffy she cat off balance.

The male's body was teaming with muscle! She couldn't help grin as she chastised herself. Now wasn't the time, Cindergaze, though she couldn't blame herself. "I would hope not, but it doesn't hurt to just check, right? Can't say I'm disappointed." she rolled with him, digging claws into the male in an attempt to keep him from shaking her. "You're welcome to investigate as much as you like." her eyes flashed with a look she was named for, her voice singsonging her teasing words. She couldn't help the smirk that turned up her face at him as she peeled herself away from him and began to circle.
