Guidelines for Non-Fiction:
This should go without saying but be respectful to your fellow writers. If you are uncomfortable with something that is going on, tell them. If they disregard, report it to a moderator.

GaiaOnline terms of service, rules and guidelines apply in any and all posts within this guild and within this subforum. If you are found to be in violation of these, you will be removed from the guild for a period. After which, if you would like to rejoin, you may. If you continue to violate these rules, you will be banned. The same applies to the rules and guidelines for the guild. You have been warned.

Rules for Non-Fiction:

1. Be respectful. While this is not a fiction genre subforum, the thoughts and writings of these writers are just as important and meaningful.

2. Do not plagiarize. This is still a creative writing subforum and all works should be your own.

3. If you wish to write on a sensitive subject, please be aware that this is an open reader guild as well as an open writing guild. If you don't want it known, don't post it.

4. The 18+ label rule does apply, even here. Please be aware of your subject and act accordingly.

5. If you wish to have constructive criticism of your work or are looking for collaborations (such as creating a series of essays on a specific topic), use the correct title labels. For collaborations, please use Seeking Collaboration. For criticism, please use Constructive Criticism Welcome. If you do not want either of these, please use No Advice.

6. Additionally, please use the Open or Closed labels to indicate if you are done with your current story thread or are still working on it. If you do not wish to use these, you do not have to. But it will help readers and other writers to distinguish whether they should pay attention to your work or not.
