Welcome to G.R.W - Get Rekt Wrestling

G.R.W came about after having some thoughts about how the Gaia wrestling community was back between 2008-2014 prior to what was known as the "Bullshit Era" which saw many people argue with each other and resulted in a exodus of many respected role players within the Gaia community and has caused any possible newbies to stay away due to the toxic nature during the "Bullshit Era".

I wish to restore the good old days were people got along with out too much issues and to be respectful of each other. If issues between role players were to arise here in G.R.W then please speak to a member of crew who might be able to help resolve issues.

To the newbies - I welcome you to G.R.W, if you have never been apart of a wrestling role play before I do suggest you take the time to ask people for help or guidance whilst you are learning the tricks of the trade, also read other peoples matches to see what they do or how they write out their posts. Keeping an open mind for advice or constructive criticism goes along way in making sure that you can improve and have fun. No one was a natural when they first started and I know for a fact I was not either.

To the veterans - I also welcome you to G.R.W, I don't have much to say other than to have fun and help out the newbies if you are able to, if they are open minded about it or they send you a message asking for advice.

I am all about giving chances here in G.R.W, but should there be issues where someone is causing trouble then the crew of G.R.W, will decide how to approach handling the troublesome person.

Now for the grand finale of this welcoming speech and this involves everyone within the community right now.

It is of my understanding that not everyone gets along for personal reasons, creative reasons or differences of opinion. Some people even go as far as blocking people they dislike.

I want to help change that by involving as many people as I can who are apart of the community at present. Even if there are stemming issues between people, I do suggest that you speak to crew or myself about who you don't wish to be booked against and we'll make note of that in the crew forum but I do not want to prevent people from joining G.R.W because of some people they might not like. Simply put you do not have to interact with them in G.R.W if you chose not to. However should one person be a champion but someone they don't like becomes a number one contender for their championship then please put aside differences for the sake of the guild and the championship you are defending, what happens after the match is up to the two individuals.
