I want to create a series of comics/watercolour manga that provides practical or even fantastical solutions to socio-economic problems. Would you like to weigh in on ideas?
This is what I have so far:
Poverty & starvation & drought & floods/erosion - permaculture urban gardens on public grounds for everyone to take care of, enjoy and harvest from + teaching emotional maturity in schools early on so that the scarcity mindset that begets thievery can be put to an end.
The main issues include:
Poverty
Starvation
Sanitation & hygiene & lack of access to clean water
Drought
Homelessness
Unemployment/joblessness + overpopulation + low wages during inflation
Natural disasters
Poor foundational education
Lack of access to proper education
Domestic abuse, abuse, rape and violent crime, gang wars, taxi wars, anarchy, senseless crimes to violating property, etc
Divorce rates + absent fatherhood
Teenage parenthood
Cultural distortion pertaining to alcohol abuse
Heritage illiteracy - "There is a Lack of Knowledge Syndrome (LKS), where people tend to learn and adopt negative and uncultured social values and then begin to forge their own principles based on the same toxic social, philosophical and ideological backgrounds."
How would you solve them if you were ruler of the world or had enough influence/power to make a difference?
