I feel so young. I was born in 91, and have absolutely no memories of Red Dwarf before I was maybe 13. I feel weird now...

Wohoo! Born the same year as Red Dwarf was first being made. I have some fond memories of the series. But the clearest memories are that of the later series.

My childhood didn't have the benefit of RD, mainly because it didn't exist yet. I feel really old now! biggrin

This is a big if as it has been a while. But, if I remember correctly I saw RD in '88 as I belive I have a RD T-shirt that was offered for helping support our PBS channel that has '89 on it for the year. As I saw it the year before my folks donated to he channel. By the way live in the WA, US. Looking back on it. I'm not surprised that they aquired it. Because B.C. and the fact they also showed alot of other british comodies like Monty Python ____, Black Ader and such.

I was born in 1989 but I totally missed Red Dwarf the first time around, apart from briefly catching (and completely not getting) bits of series eight. I only discovered it properly when the BBC decided to repeat the whole run really late at night some time around Christmas 2003.
