⦕𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔸𝕔𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕟𝕥𝕒𝕟𝕥⦖ 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝌁𝌃 This city was decrepit as the last one was, and the one before that. Not that it was to anyone’s surprise- the entire world had gone to s**t after… well, that was ancient history now. The world was as it was now- a fetid, crumbling cesspool of sin, debauchery and woe. Honestly, for The Accountant, nothing was really too out-of-the-ordinary for him here. He much prefered the world this way- no more pretentious attempts by weak-willed humans to appear prim and proper, swine in pearls. Now the populace was exposed for every wart and blemish normal for humanity, the thin veneer of polish that was once ‘civilized’ cracked and washed away to show what it truly was. This world was filled with nothing more than animals- scrabbling, despicable roaches.
Just as it always should have been.
Achebe didn’t have time to wax poetic about the current state of humanity and the world that had been delved into darkness. Now, he had a job to do. The task of finding a particular target for a wealthy, powerful client of his. A target that had thus far eluded him for the past few months. The math wasn’t adding up properly, the young male should be somewhere in this particular town, but the trail had grown cold almost the instant the well-dressed man had stepped into the city limits. His target was elusive, and this town was of considerably decent size, but he was not to be deterred. He had his means of gaining information- be it from bribery with seemingly endless supply of gold coin, or sheer intimidation and threats of physical violence. The Accountant was going to ensure that he got what he had came for.

Yuu then headed to a barrel of water nearby and silently cleaned up his clothing before starting to look through the supplies in the bag. As he searched through everything he pulled out several knives that he tucked into his jacket and some simple non-perishables that were surprisingly still good which he began to munch on. He then calmly walked the different stalls of the black market he had found himself in, stopping here and there to sell a few things or buy something that would be of use to him. However as he shopped he caught something or rather someone in the corner of his eye and turned to face them. He had seen his face before but where? Oh right the raiders, the Slaughtered Lambs if he remembered correctly. Not that he really cared who this person was, however what did interest him was the fact that the male seemed to be looking for something. Eh might as well help, not like he had anything else to do, plus perhaps he could learn more about this person he could use later. At that thought Yuu shouldered the bag he had been carrying and approached the gentleman with a grin, "You seem a bit lost there friend, any way I can be of service?"·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ·· ··÷¦÷·· ··I'm about to show For the time you're gonna lose By the time I go Are you coming?: Aŭkcia DomoMove it or loose it: A raider?Just tossed something on: Lined with furRun with the beat: nothing at the moment

⦕𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔸𝕔𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕟𝕥𝕒𝕟𝕥⦖ 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝌁𝌃 The man paused as he looked around the marketplace- or what could be considered as such. It seemed despite the rather improvised location it was fairly organized with merchants, sellers and slavers showing off their wares in an effort to prompt a potential sale or trade. It was far more organized than what the Slaughtered Lambs had for their trading- usually involving plenty of shouting and threats before a transaction was made, and it certainly made keeping inventory of goods amongst the raiders nearly impossible. Or at least nearly impossible for someone who wasn’t Achebe. Casually he walked amongst the kiosks, noting the scraps for sale as well as a few sorry-looking slaves better suited for death than any use to himself or his esteemed clientele, and most certainly not the particular individual he currently sought out. While his current target of interest was hardly intelligent enough to fully evade him, Achebe knew it would be harder for a slaver to nab the pit dog and contain him long enough to be sold to auction.
No, he needed a lead.
A voice chimed in from behind, causing the Accountant to raise his brows in slight surprise before turning to face the lithe male. Ah yes, just who he was looking for.
Yuu Masaru Takeshi was known to be a fairly reliable source of information regarding anything and everything in this city and to an extent the outlying territories there. King Kill 32 had hired Yuu a few times, and if one could get past his damned riddled and enigmatic ways the young man was a valuable asset- for the right price.
❝Yes, maybe you can assist me in something,❞ Achebe spoke, offering a small smile to the shorter male, his voice deep and possessing a tinge of accent to it. Perhaps this would be easier than he thought. ❝Perhaps you might be able to point me in the direction of a particular good, something quite...specific...❞ he let his smile fall slightly, reaching into his jacket and unfurled a handkerchief, dabbing at his brow before crumpling it into a ball and offering it to the thinner male. The delicately embroidered handkerchief was now full of pieces of gold, hopefully enough to at least appetize the young male to providing him with further business. He wouldn’t waste his time if Yuu deemed this payment paltry.

He knew exactly what this man was after since the leader of the Slaughtered Lambs had hired him a few times to find out anything about this particular target. A pit dog, a very valuable one at that and they were desperate to get him back, not that Yuu cared. At that thought Yuu took the gold and counted it. He then pocketed the gold and chuckled before speaking up, "I imagine you're looking for Kill's number one prize, his precious pet yes? He's in town alright, mostly moves around later in the day though, tends to flock to food or booze lately, might wanna try the inn if not there then he's scavenging somewhere. He's still in his wasteland gear if that helps any and that's all you're getting from me for now." At that Yuu turned to walk off but then stopped and turned his head to face the person he was just talking to. grinning wickedly. "You know if you've got the gold I can get him for you, I know this place like the back of my hand, then again you would miss out on the credit wouldn't you. Greed was commonplace, no longer the cardinal sin it once had been. The line between virtue and sin was blurred in this world, not that Achebe particularly cared- so long as he could accomplish his job effectively.
The news given to him had been beneficial, he had known that the pit dog would be attracted to the scent of food and decay, but the news of him being lured by alcohol was an amusing one. Perhaps he had gotten a taste for it in his freedom. He had figured the young man wasn’t stupid enough to wander through the wastes in nothing more than his fighting garb, undoubtedly scavenging from one of the fallen raiders during the coup. The boy wasn’t completely stupid.
❝Our transaction is complete, thank you. I believe it would be best if I were to bring the boy back to the illustrious King- I am sure you are aware of the recent political developments with the camp, newer faces are not the most welcomed,❞ Achebe spoke with a small nod, offering a few more gold pieces to Yuu before he turned to leave.
❝Also, take this. In exchange for your further cooperation. I wouldn’t want you to turn around and have a chat with the young man,❞ a thin threat, but paired with further payment made it less painful.

 *~ Undyne ~* Outfit
You will never define me You will never complete me You will never control me You will never break me down
The Underground was quiet...as usual. The tall monster male leaned against the wall of the tunnel, his good eye closed as he took in a silent, deep breath. A small figure cowered beside him, shaking like a leaf and curled against the wall as far as they could. “You press against that wall any farther, you’ll end up a part of it.” Undyne spoke, his voice gruff as he opened his red and yellow eye and peeked down at the child. Well...it wasn’t technically a child. But when compared to the Monster’s age, they might as well been a babe. “S-s-sorry…” The small one replied. It was a male, with glittering markers all over his skin. Undyne was guessing some type of fae. Fae meant it was a high demand pet, and with how young they were… Undyne couldn’t let them go through anymore. Already they had one master, and that master… Well, they weren’t around anymore. The sound of soft footsteps soon started to echo in the tunnel, and Undyne turned his attention to the source.
Coming down the mostly abandoned tunnel was a medium height male with a slim build and short hair. They seemed ill suited to be guiding the pet to safety, but Undyne knew how looks could be ever so deceiving. Grabbing the small ones arm, Undyne toted them over to the person. “They will keep you safe...just stay with them. Do. Not. Run.” He handed him over to the male, who looked up to the monster and nodded. “Thank you. I will get them out of here.” He held out a pouch of money, which Undyne took without a second thought. He shook it, looking a little surprised. “I added a little extra...this is dangerous work after all. Please...be safe.” The stranger male said before walking off, taking the small one with him. The fae looked back to Undyne, unsure of himself. All the Monster did was smile his toothy grin, which despite being scary for most, seemed to put the young one at ease. Welp...time to get out of here unseen before it sours my rep. Turning on his heel, he walked out of the tunnels and toward his final destination.
The Auction House was always a good place to spend well earned money. Undyne was in need of a couple things. He was also sure that Frisk could probably use a thing or two...and why not buy it while he’s there? Thinking to Frisk, he sighed. He would need to check up on the lad to see how he’s doing. Probably working at the Inn still...wearing those… He sighed. Undyne had tried getting the kid more clothes. A warmer jacket and scarf being a couple of those things. But no...Frisk would wear nothing by the coat he had and the scarf that never left his neck. It wasn’t that he disapproved...he actually understood exactly why he did. Still, it slightly concerned him. At least their not the exact colors of the ones they wore… As Undyne kept himself in thought, he looked through the stalls of different wares and picked through what might be useful and what he knew would not.

So this guy was paying for his silence, smart move on his part really but that didn't mean he still wasn't going to cause a few problems for King's raiders, he was bored after all. Actually he had other ideas on how to mess with King Kill, he would just pass the information onto his enemies and maybe even a certain Saint who might find some interest in the pit dog. The other raiders would love to know that King Kill's prized possession was free for the taking if they could find him of course and the Saint, well he always liked to find oddities and turn them into something more. However he wasn't going to say these thoughts out loud so he just accepted the coin and nodded before disappearing into the shadows once more. Aidyn Frost Mercenary | Red Barron's Dog | Wolf Demon
Cut you open and make you sick Suffer, suffer, suffer like I did ≠
You would think that when the two emerged from the lower areas of the city that they might find a form of relief. Though this wasn't the case for Aidyn who recognized the area they'd appeared in almost instantly.
There was no secret that the wolf demon had frequented this area often throughout his lifetime in and around Ozymandias. At times it was simply for information, but other instances he was known to bring a captured slave that he didn't find worthy of his raider clan or employer/leader. As far as he was concerned, if they were only useful enough to tend the already well tended gardens, it was more beneficial to bring back coin or needed materials. It was probably lucky for Nero that his view of the boy had changed in these recent moments.
"Ey, Nero was it?" He asked, "Stay close. This area isn't safe for you." The problem here was, that Aidyn didn't realize that his voice had changed. No, not in tone, but in it's language. Yeah, he didn't manage much more than the whines and little barks, but to Aidyn right now this sounded normal.

♫Nero Evans♫ Where: Aŭkcia Domo With: Aidyn Feeling: exhausted, nervous OOC: The red head just held on for dear life, burying his face in fur as he gained his breath back. He took no notice of the route the wolf took, just glad to be free. Nero eventually readjusted his grip on Aidyn, closing his eyes. He was shocked the wolf demon had decided to save him. The other male easily could've turned tail and bolted after Cade and the feral boy but no, Aidyn had made the choice to save him and get away.
As Aidyn's pace slowed, Nero looked up to see an opening in the wall. But the red head started to get this uneasy feeling, it only growing as they passed through the opening and into the last place Nero wanted to ever be. The male cursed, looking around nervously as he took in the sights of the auction house. He didn't want to be here, he's rather take his chances of bolting past the fire demon back in the Underground rather than be here.
As the red head started to get a little panicky about the situation, the sound of yips and barks drew his attention back to the wolf holding him. He couldn't understand what Aidyn was saying, but the look of concern in the wolf's eyes was enough to get the message across. Nero let go of the other, glancing around as he stood. They needed to get out of here, without causing too much trouble. He came up with a plan and looked to Aidyn. "I have an idea on how to get us out of here, will you play along with me?"

Aidyn Frost Mercenary | Red Barron's Dog | Wolf Demon
Cut you open and make you sick Suffer, suffer, suffer like I did ≠
It became very evident to the wolf that his words just now were either ignored or simply not understood. He would assume the later, as the boy had proven to be very cooperative and responsive to him up until now. This was a problem. Almost as much of a problem as the lack of knowledge to regain his humanoid form.
The wolf looked down at big white paws, then back up at Nero where he'd just nod in agreement. Whatever Nero's plan was in this dangerous area was probably better than anything he could pull off as an animal. His intentions for the moment were to follow the boy and attack in defense if necessary. At the very least he had strength and sharp canines on his side, still.
He could sense the equal sense of fear and discomfort for this new situation coming from his companion. It was this that would cause the demon to make more of an effort into assisting the boy in their escape. It brought up the question if the boy had ever been here before, or if simply it's existence was feared by those who never wished to. There were few times that a man could feel comfortable here, and that was either by being a seller or a buyer of the various goods.
Aidyn took a moment to take in his surroundings, the familiar area having changed some since his last visit. This time with both parties looking more on the end of a potential slave than a master, it was important to find a direction that would allow them to leave with the least amount of notice or contact. With the tunnel being out of the question at least. He brought up his muzzle and bumped the boys hand with his nose, then turned as if trying to suggest a reasonably safe route, in his opinion.

♫Nero Evans♫ Where: Aŭkcia Domo With: Aidyn Feeling: Nervous and extremely catious OOC: The red head smiled when he saw the wolf nodded, gently patting the other's head before standing. He turned and started digging through the various things around them, eventually finding something that would help sell his little story if they were spotted. He wasn't sure how Aidyn was going to feel about it but they really didn't have much of a choice. It was either do what they could to walk out of here or never leave again until someone decided to buy them as slaves.
Nero turned his head back to the wolf when Aidyn nudged his hand, following the other's gaze. The path Aidyn seemed to want to go looked relatively clear of people, it might just work. Turning and kneeling down in front of Aidyn, Nero sighed. "Please, for heaven's sake, don't bite me right now. This is the only way we can get out of here." And with that said, Nero snapped a collar and lease around the wolf's neck. He could already feel the other's glare even though he wasn't looking at him. "Once we're out and you've changed back, I'll take whatever yelling or anything you need to do to get me back for this. Now, you lead and I'll follow." Nero stood and started in the direction Aidyn pointed out before allowing the wolf to walk ahead of him and guide him through the auction house.

Cut you open and make you sick Suffer, suffer, suffer like I did ≠
The wolf grunt as the boy knelt down and made his plea. Aidyn had honestly thought that the other had misread his signal in that moment and it was tempting to bite him just for that. It was already clear that the creature wasn't exactly happy, and what would make it worse was the collar being wrapped around his neck... likely something an escaped slave must have discarded as they ran, but it somehow fit around the wolf's large neck.
A low growl would leave Aidyn's muzzle and his ear tilted back in discomfort. He didn't know what it felt like to be bound in such a way and he could agree that it didn't feel nice.
His ears tilted back and he would begin to walk at Nero's command. There was a sort of strategy to the way he'd carry himself as they passed through the auction house. His tail hung low and head was down in a show of submission, something to better enforce that they were meant to be here. It wouldn't be at all suspicious if the small human boy was secretly powerful and had caught the wolf to sell. Many wouldn't question it, though it was demeaning to the demon of course.
There was sure to be a lot of pent up frustrations ready to explode from the demons mouth as soon as they found a safe place and he could manage to change back. Though that was for later. At the moment, he at least knew that Nero got the message and he could lead them to somewhere safer than the main hub of slave trade.
For now, he'd lead them to a back alley that lead to a familiar place. A business that his incubus leader couldn't help but to indulge in from time to time. It would also house a master as it's owner that Aidyn had intentions of being friendly with for the sake of any potential business in the future.

♫Nero Evans♫ Where: Aŭkcia Domo With: Aidyn Feeling: Nervous and extremely catious OOC: Nero could tell the other was extremely unhappy about having the collar around his neck. But for now, it would allow them to pass through mostly unnoticed as long as they looked like they were meant to be there. The red head followed after the wolf, holding the lease in one hand and having his other hand resting on the wolf's shoulders. They seemed to move unnoticed for a while, keeping to themselves and not interfering with those around them. But it seemed like they would hit a snag in their escape as Nero was suddenly grabbed roughly by the arm, yelping as he was spun to face one of the many guards, the large man asking who he was and why he was there. Nero gulped, tense in the other's grasp as he leaned back against Aidyn's side.
"I-I'm sorry, sir. I'm just passing through, m-my master's wolf escaped last night and I followed him all the way through that stinky Underground until he led me here. I mean no harm here." said the male in his most innocent voice, offering a small smile to the guard while he was studied. As long as he acted like a bought slave chasing his master's pet, they could get out. The guard glanced behind Nero at Aidyn, seeing how the wolf was carrying himself. He glared at the red head, pushing him back a little and into the wolf. "Get out of here, you damn brat," the man snarled at him, pointing to the exit. "Before your master loses two pets at once." Nero yipped and nodded quickly, tightening his grip on the leash and started hurrying through the auction house, keeping his head down until he had managed to lead Aidyn out the front door and down a ways before slipping into an alley.

It was unfortunate that they were caught so close to the exit, and at the beginning of the encounter with the guard he was incredibly uneasy. There was no way he could assist and he wasn't sure to what extent the other males plan was ready for it.
Though surprisingly enough, Nero treated the situation well and created a valid lie that the guard would thankfully believe. The wolf would growl at his response, displeased to have the boy shoved into him, though he didn't make an offensive move. There was no point to it if they wanted to attract as little attention as possible. He was acting as he felt a reasonably trained animal might.
The leash tightened as the boy began to run, and Aidyn was forced and pulled for a moment before he could gain his barrings in a movement that was still somewhat foreign to him in this new body. He ran clumsily, but it wouldn't become noticeable until they were close to disappearing from sight.
[Exit to back ally, second half over there.]
