Freda wandered into her new home and shut the door behind her. Being very careful to make sure no one saw inside. She had only been living here for a short while, having moved to the area to keep an eye on one of the newer members. But still, it was starting to feel like home. It wouldn't feel entirely like home however until everything was set up. Speaking of which...
She had already put in a call to the Boss and asked him to send over supplies for her to set up and build her Tinker Tools. Walking over to the boxes, her first job was to check and make sure she had everything she needed. She began pulling things out of boxes and placing them out over the floor to take an inventory. Once satisfied, the young German woman began ordering them into what she'd need for what job. Taking a large screen she set it up and attached it to her computer, designed to make it easy for her to see from all the way across the room. She then took out the various pieces and tools needed to set up the medical bed she would be using. She'd have to do her operations somewhere after all. She pieced it all together, making sure everything worked as intended. The bed was designed to be very adjustable and supportive. She even hopped up into it and laid down, just to make sure it could support weight and be adjusted easily. Once satisfied it wouldn't fall apart while she was busy cutting someone open, she hopped back down again and began rummaging through more bits and pieces.
Next she pulled out various equipment and assorted items and Tinker'd up herself some high tech diagnostic equipment around the bed intended to check the status and function of her Cybernetics, all hooked up to the nearby computer. Mostly for ease of manipulation and data recording. She then went about setting up various tables around the room, and in turn a number of metal working tools and machines. Any space left over went towards storing a microscope, various analyzing technology she herself had built, secure shelving for hand-held tools and other assorted bits and bobs she would need to do her job. Once these things were all laid out, she took the time to sterilize and sort them all. As confident as she was in her ability to handle infection, she wanted to make sure no one else would be getting sick. She also set up a large frame ready for when she created the power armor she intended on using. It wouldn't be coming for a little while yet, but why not get it out of the way now? She had already drawn up plans for a starter set-up. Speaking of which, she placed down a table with various drawing equipment on it for if she needed to make physical blueprints for whatever reason. Sometimes the old ways just worked the best. It also served as a general writing space for if she ever needed to make notes. Ideas and such like for later.
Using one of the currently empty storage units she began putting away any assorted items and resources that she didn't need right now. After all, it couldn't hurt to have spares. This went both for the tools themselves and the things she would be using to make the various items. Metals, wiring, power units, so on and so forth. She could make more or less anything she needed from these things. And for the things she couldn't? She could always order those in specially using her computer. It always helped to have connections, which she had due to her affiliation with Toybox.
